Plus I would rather see some major cleaning up in the Review section. A great numbers of comments made there aren't reviews at all, especially remarks made by artists and labels themselves. Like I fraggin' care about some Clyde greeting another one... and so on...

I think it is a good idea to change it by genres, but i'm also sure that Isratrance staff are taking care and only wish for the best for their users, so i'm getting into a small paradox whaaaaaaa!
and yeah many dark releases getting promoted and the other stuff is getting behind, so subgenre forums will do the trick, but that's only my point of view, peace and goodluck worldwide trancors. |

Dennis the menace: your contribution to this topic by uploading a picture and putting "Templar^ - The official isratrance maid!" in your signature clearly indicated your mental age. Guess you are one of the Clydes.

Nice to see the spirit of mutual ass licking still going strong in this place. Perhaps we need to add the "Ass Licking Promotional Section" here. I bet it will take a good load.

We think you are quite selfish and narrow minded if you think that way. There's a whole genre of trance you are actually "deleting" only because you don't like it. What about other people that are interested in it and like all other styles you don't? Maybe there are artists that has fresh, innovative style that you've never heard of???
Trance music has a wide variaty of genres and styles. In each and everyone of them you could find high quality music.
Hope you'll be more open minded in the future.

What the hell are you talking about?? i fail to believe you even read my first post in this theard after such a closed minded response.
Sir, with all due respect, you are closed minded regarding a "suggestion" that i've given.. my personal taste of music has nothing to do with anything here and i wasn't "deleting" any subgenre either..
All im saying is that, even in the REVIEW section especially, we can't find anything anymore..
Try doing a search for SON KITE in the review section.. or better yet, try using the search for "progressive" or something a little general.
The idea i have suggested can only help organise our scene.. why is it that "dividing" is all people notice ?? It scares me to think that the new Midi Miliz album sits beside Hujaboy's album on TIP, or that Fuzzion's album is beside Derango's album (names are chosen at random) !!
As for all the super-new-innovative styles that are yet to be recognised as a sub-catagory, well, just put it in the "psytrance" section then.. hell, it doesn't have to be 100% accurat either and i never thought that the Isratrance team would have to elect Judges for each section to assure accuracy either.. but putting all the prog/house/electo in one subsection, and having one for Techtrance, full-on and Dark would be something really interesting !!
Plus it would make people's lives easyer to find exactly what they are looking for.. and if you don't know what you are looking for, feel free to check the other subsections and listen to what you choose.. there are no limits here.. only organising..
I mean, do you keep your underwears in the same door as your jeans? And i don't think you are answering NO because you don't like underwear .. They are both cloths for us to wear also but i would never mix them up... its just to stay organised and on top of your game !! And yeah, for the few undershirts that you might have, you can put them in your underwear door or with your t-shirts.. but there aren't many undershirts in our scene unfortunatly, so it won't get that compilcated !!
Thanks for at least considering this and its good to see that im not the only one who would appreciated a little organization here !!

It's a nice idea to make sub-genres to have it more organized but you could never make it because each one interpetrates music differently. for example, some think Shift's music is morning and others think it is dark. So who would be the 1 to decide which artist belongs to which genre or sub-genre or sub-sub-sub-genre?
No hard feelings bro, but we said you were closed minded not on your idea of divisions but when you agreed on sticking to the same known artists and new artists don't interest you.Or following the good old "herd rule" of "i don't need to listen myself cos if all say it's great then it's gotta be..."
Sorry for not quoting in the first time.

Like the bpm's are all the same on a cd..
A compilation might start with a downbeat track or intro and end with a highspeed track. Should this one be posted in all sections then?
or should we calculate the average speed? |
