yeah right... did you know that after a while those tapes get infected with a fungus when not in use for a long time!           Nothing is said that has not been said before.

that happens in very humid enviorment like bombay as with many other things like my camera and the lenses.
u have to store it in a cool & dry place           the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!

yup when they are in a moist place they can get infected by a fungus had it with some old tapes...

i did store them in a box and in the storage room but that's near the front door so cooler as it has no heater.

and some tapes had a bit of fungus growing on them so keep then dry and clean and... wind them from times to times if you really wish to keep them well intact           no situation is stronger then a heart that dares to love
so may the force of life light and love be with you

I didnt catch up psy trance music on old cassettes, most of my cassettes were stuff from Michael Jackson,Depeche Mode,2 Unlimited,Ace Of Base,KLF and other euro trance/electro stuff of that era BUT i spend 3-4 full years collecting psychedelic trance on minidiscs that where very popular around 1997-1998 but i guess quite useless in our days apart from nostalgic purposes.

The music back in those days was much less in quantity but so much better in quality and difficult to find ofcourse,no fast internet connections and traders on the web back then,no super duper computers with ultra speed cd recorders, actually very few people owned a pc back then and even less knew what the internet was not to mention about cd recorders which costed a small fortune and needed something like an hour to rip and copy a full audio cd.

Very few people had the music in their hands back then and they were either dj's exchanging with each other or people close to artists,dj's and label managers, actually this 'exchanging music scene' was so small back then that when a track leaked out it was a matter of some days to learn who gave it to whom (within the country at least) and also i cant forget the fact that minidiscs were quite expensive in Israel at the time so some of very very well known names of today with whom i was exchanging music back them through ordinary mail were asking me to return them back the minidiscs they were sending me because they couldnt afford buying new ones all the time, they even asked me to send them new empty minidiscs from Greece since they were much cheaper here LOL.

I really miss those days, music was really appreciated back then and people were happy with 3-4 minidiscs a month since the music like i said before was of high standards and there were not what we call today 'copy paste' or 'crap' tracks.

By the way lots of amazing material remained unreleased back from those days from great artists from around the globe.

Unfortunately or not like Soul Kontakt said things advance really fast and who knows where we will be in the next 5-10 years.....           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!
