i've checked the stats are there are 35 spanish users registered including 2 artists and 2 labels... they don't post much (long time i don't see a spanish flag in here, if i ever seen one) but usually i only go to the music sections so i can't really comment...

Well would be a really long post to explain the reason why most people from spain would never use a spanish flag. And an impossible matter without relating to political matters.

Is true that spanish trance scene is not as big as Portugese one but i'm sure if you come to a party in your neighbour country you wouldnt be disapointed.

sorry... i didn't remember the political implications of the "spanish" territory...

Im aware of the situation but didn't come to my mind when posting

I sure would like to go party in spain (last year i planned to go to barcelona but really couldn't because of work complications) and i've heard at least ibiza and barcelona are very cool places but is there anywhere else to go for psytrance parties?

I've checked the party section and only saw ibiza and barcelona as party destinations!

still... so many artists are moving to ibiza that i can only guess it must be a very very good destination.

i think it's the best help when someone is planning a trip here...           roll a joint or STFU :)

If you want to know about trance parties in Spain, there are several web sites that you can check it out.
For example, in the link below you can find the sites of the spanish collectifs:

http://sinergia.sytes.net/peich.php?id=links-collectives

By the way, in august there is a very nice and big festival in Spain called OMNI FESTIVAL. And also I heard about a festival of psyconnection people, but I don't know too much...

i think you're all aware that there's an internal dispute for independence in spain.

if you look more "closely" you'll notice not evey region speaks the same language (i think some have diferent alphabets too) and are in fact diferent people with diferent origins.

Portuguese people will remember from school that the territory known as spain was place to many different kingdooms and then...

... i think bako will probably be able to explain it better and correct any nonsense i might have told

i think they are refering to the basque region in spain - i have some knowledge on the topic, but would much rather have a spanish explanation.           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."

The basque, the catalan and a little part fo the galicians.
They don't consider themselves as spanish.
Besides...the spanish flag represents a central power that a lot of people hates around there.
On the other hand many of us we can't really use the spanish flag coz we find some other flags here that are more fancy like the ohm and so on.
There are quite a lot of spanish users in this forum...it doesn't matter if they post or not the trance scene in Spain is kind of big nowadays.
But let the users with experiences in our land share some knowledge about us...I'm not in a promotional mood right now.
