Last Sunday Huggay Elazar from Future Prophecy was here for a dj set invited from some really big party organizers here in Athens.Eyal Yankovich also played for this team before 20 days or something.
The guys putted Huggay to play when the club just oppened and for the first 2 hours he was performing in front of 50 people,during the 3rd hour the club had something around 400-500 people and Huggay (who only played 3 Future Prophecy tracks) was playing Deedrah,Infected Mushroom and Delta tracks.Only 20 people danced.When he was off the stage i asked him why didnt he played any of his own tracks and his statement was "Our music is not for these people".
I felt so embarassed being a Greek psy trance lover because i know that in Israel the folks down there speak with the ugliest words about the Greek audience although there is a small minority that knows about good music.Anyway i just want to say that Greece has still a lot to learn and i feel very bad about all these guys that come to trance parties and hear Nitzch o not music (the same goes to the party organisers).

Yes it was for Sarantos and Mike Verros (Funky Bee Team).I think the only guys that support them are the arsims as our Israeli folks say.
Anyway i hoped that this team will try to improve their parties,i think i was wrong. |

I´m sorry(IMO) but Sarantos and verros parties were for young teenagers with no knowledge of trance music !!!One of there biggest fans waz Holymen "the god"( as they used to call him) lol ya right!!
I mean what can i say when u put Jodi instead for Joti on the flyer and they go,pay and think its actually him(but he´s actually in england playing ) then what more can i say!!
I mean no offence,(its my opinion) but "reload" now known as "funky bee team" suks and always will!!!
But then again greek/albainian arsims also need to have a place to party!!! |

Cyberfunk is considered to be the best party promotion team in Greece but according to my humble opinion they also suck big time.They are better organised than any other team but they invite the same people all the time (Joti and Frankee all the time),what they most need is a better place to hold their parties,anyway we need something good here and fast. |

Well,the best (and only really psy) party in athens is Natural High by I.Mindphazer.2 weeks ago I experienced one of the best parties of the last years.Real full on psychedelia.Teo from GOA & Serge from total eclipse&antidote where the guests.More french style ,full power psy trance.Nice sets by the residents also!
Another nice party before the summer with Morg(katayama) and Noma.Also other parties that I didnt go to.Orion live pa& j.borelli dj set on the 10th november-try it.
what I mean is that THERE IS a party that brings good guests in Athens who dont come every 3 weeks(joti,j.monro,frank e etc).And in a nice place(Gialino mousiko theatro).Party organisers make people turn to nitchonot&progrssive for money.What to say???? |

Look the only place u´ll find good parties are the private ones Example: koropi,xalkidiki generally outside athens!!
Dont expect for a really booooommm party at a club anymore ,i mean they are some good ones (exceptions) but most of them are just for the money and the image!! Not anymore for the spirit of the music!!!And again all the old party ppl dont go no more to clubs,its the newer generation which ofcourse have a different way of partying from us older ones ;) !!!
And if u know about the greek party scene u also should know that money talks and if u dont have it then pssss..... paketo mages u get a shit party and under cover cops with it ;) |

I disagree with you Nikki. You can have a great time AND in a club!! For example this year saturday 07 July in Ergostasio Club [Funky Bee] I had a great time with the Astral Projection experience! I mean if you have the best trance band (Astral) and if you feel well then expect for a Super-Duper party , and the dirty money can go to hell!!!! Who cares??? _:)_ |

RE g-r-EEK i didnt say "all" i said some with exceptions!!But i agree if u want to have fun ,u´ll have fun whatever and however ur surroundings are!
But the truth is that in the past years most our parties are so,so!! I mean u need to second think if it really is gonna be worth it, theres no more that garantee that its gonna be f*** great like in the older timez!!
U knew that u´d give the money but in return u´d leave the party 100% satisfaction threw the whole week till the next one came along !!!

don't know if most people like parties organized here, or if they care about the money that organizers make, or if they go to parties just to have fun and "live the experience", or whatever...
only know that if we continue this way, serious artists will stop playing at parties in Greece...
when 2 organizing groups try to "steal" (if this is possible) the artists from each other, when these djs and groups see the situation here every time they come to play, i don't think we will ever be considered as a country where it is worthwhile playing to...
don't know how many can see this... this is just my opinion... |

For tham who dont like greek partys can "GO FUCK" for sure...
Dextop my friend u dont have to be embarassed being a Greek psy trance lover because greece already have better partys than in many other counries...
