We Greek Djs dont get any respect in their homeland

That doesn't make this promotion (i book you ,you book me) situation.It has to do with good relationship (and this is where you are right),but, foreign organisers actualy , realy care about good artists rather than deals like (i bok you,you book me) they don't need this anyway...And of course we are talking about organisers that actualy organise big and massive events.

I agree with u guys at this point,but this happening with very few artists i think!! also George is a close friend to me and we're collaborators at our U.P.C. events and i think he DESERVES IT!! TOTALLY!!

That with bookings is a thing. Also with parties with no foreign guest having a low turnup. But if you are doing this thing well in the end you get the respect you deserve.

Also some promoters are djs too, of course they never get invited to play elsewhere (ever- wonder why??)...kind of laughing stock...but of course they save some money this way (replacing a proper dj) and they get to hear their favourite tunes on a large soundsystem...parakmi |

yes thats bad for them!!you r right alex...
that goes to some label managers also..
the good think is that this summer some of them r going to play music in big festivals outside greece..
absolut zero,timxtreme,orphic and odysseus will kick some asses outside greece..
and some other will continue to make statements about how many cds sells in isratrance..
p.s. i forgot to write about doc but it is not neccessary. he is one of the most respectable d.j in greece and a lot of new talents djs must give attention to his attitude and his character.he is fucking cool guy..

Guys this thread is not about zik or any other zik...
It talks about greek djs in general...
If u do not like what he is doing just do not comment about it...
Everyone does what he/she likes...
If u do not like ziks music, then dont listen to it...
I have to tell u that ppl from lots of countries around the world love his music...
Now as far as the topic here, this matter is not only in greece...
Its a general matter that takes place allover the world in all the countries...
Locals are locals. There is a phrase saying "What is not mine is better" ___"To kseno eine pio gliko"...
No prob, if locals are not so respected in their homeland maybe in other countries they are
On the botttom line, is not about gaining respect and making ppl loving u, is all about doing what you realy like and love & someday you'll get what u deserve...

in which international festival will you be kicking asses ?
btw...i never said that i am great dj and i never intend to kick any asses, just make people happy and see them smile...i am happy to play in august in the biggest festival this summer - www.ozora.hu
