I know that Tiesto is big in Israel, but who are some good trance DJ's coming out of Israel? I love Ferry Corsten, Johan Gielen, Tiesto, Van Dyk, Oakenfol, Dave Ralph, etc. Help me find some new good ones. Also, is there a big rave in eilat or the negev every year? |

For the kinda trance you like look for-Private taste,Flash,Zidan and MO-chick.
The rest of us do Psy-trance and tech-trance. |

i think infected is bigger here then Tiesto;)
btw once i entered #trance @ efnet network...
you have to talk to these guys...
Trance is van dyke/tiesto/oekenfold and so on
And music we like is called old and goa..only goa..whenever it's psy/techno or anything else..
And this is situation in US and over the europe..
Hopefully soon it would be improved;)

shivaS- in uk and europe, when people say trance they mean oakenfold, or van dyk. i made some interview with dj`s all of them called what u people like GOA or PSYTRANCE. it will not get better thats how things r. |

actually, a good friend of mine, a promising house DJ from london refers to tiesto and Oaky as House fer lamers... he was very much interested in learning more about Psytrance, as he already knew goa. not everyone is thick sculled ;-) |

I know that station. back when i was writing some rock reviews in ynet, i did a piece about Online radios, and i bumped into a few of electro's, but most of them are dead links. |

why hard house never cought on? one of many reasons - ppl in israel are used to shitty house music, and they never heard anything other than what Mo-Chick and Zidan are giving them (im only giving their example). hard house and NU NRG are very different styles than what the Israeli Ear is used to, much more techno-ish, hard core, thumping, happy, quick, uplifiting music. very Not-your-Normal-House-music...
that's my opinion anyway. |
