In the good old days........

In the good old days, we were blessed by the fact that there were not that many labels, how lucky we were that we didnt have that much choice in music.

In the good old days, djs had much less skill and experience than now - too bad we have lost this in this new scene of ours.

In the good old days, there were far less genres to choose from - Oh the joy, so easy to know what you have to like.

In the good old days, production quality was far worse than now, how I miss the bottled up sounds of the old days.

In the good old days, there where no real forums to socialize with other psyfreaks in, oh how I miss the joy of having noone to share my love with.

In the good old days, people knew so little about the music, if only we had as little information resources available today.

In the good old days, we had the good fortune of plenty of 12" releases over the annoyingly well sounding CD releases w/more music pr $.

In the good old days, we didnt have to content with people whining over that they miss the good old days - since those WHERE the days

Dont you just miss it ?

I think, what I miss most, about the good old days is myself - I mean, experiencing things for the first time... Best thing about today is, that the music has progressed since then, and for the future - I hope we will be able to create a true subculture for ourselves in this world we live in.

If this post just seems meaningless to you, ahhh damn, then Im bloody well sorry - Please find it in your heart to forgive me - pleeeeeeease hehe.

Hi Krell, I didn't really like your poem, that's why I changed it around a bit:

In the good old days, we were blessed by the fact that there were not that many labels, how lucky we were that people didn't think about selling trance music.

In the good old days, djs had much less skill and experience than now - they had much less of an attitude too.

In the good old days, there were far less genres to choose from - nobody felt a need for that.

In the good old days, production quality was far worse than now, the main thing was that the music was psychedelic and made you dance.

In the good old days, there where no real forums to socialize with other psyfreaks in, people were actually spending time together in real life.

In the good old days, people knew so little about the music, because it wasn't about knowledge, but about feeling.

In the good old days, we had the good fortune of plenty of 12" releases, which featured only great tracks, instead of mainly crap like on most CDs today.

In the good old days, we didnt have to content with people whining over that they miss the good old days - since those WHERE the days!

Great contribution

I like these changes.

"In the good old days, djs had much less skill and experience than now - they had much less of an attitude too. "

"In the good old days, there were far less genres to choose from - nobody felt a need for that. "

"In the good old days, people knew so little about the music, because it wasn't about knowledge, but about feeling. "

Especially the last one

In the good old days the dj's had double the skills and experience than todays wannabe dj's.I dont even dare to compare people like Mark Allen,James Monro,Antaro,Tsuyoshi,Max,Dino Psaras and their mates with todays kids that pretent to be djs.

In the good old days there was true psychedelic trance to be enjoyed and no other kinds of music that pretended to be psy trance in order to sell like in our days.

In the good old days there was a lot of talent that filled in the high quality gap although if you ask me even back then the tracks were of highest quality than today since most of todays artists use just software and poor ideas that cant much the talent and hardware that artists used back then.

Unfortunately these days are over.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

I don't know what's more sad....

The Days of Psytrance being "supposedly" over.

Or that you continue to keep posting posts about it being over.
