Good to see you're planning on coming back home!!!!
Yeah and it definitely looks like a great party..
excellent line-up.. and a lot of local guys... as well apparently gonna be doing their thing there.
I think Aleph, Skragg, and Dave Mac are gonna be there too.. not too sure though.

i'm also looking forward to make it to this one. will be my first long travel to a trance party and will be very exciting. yeah some SA boys djing is Dave Mac and Mickey Dredd. especially looking forward to Riktam from GMS. what's up? apparently he didn't show up for quite a few events he was booked for lately, let's hope he doesn't dissapoint us this time! |

nah, mikey dredd aint plaiyin there no more - he's organised his own event - the transolar party i think - just down the road (in venda) from the vortex gig. aleph, skragg, and dave mac are so far the only sa djs (and probably lox and regan too) who will get gigs there - no live acts unfortunateley, but most of the djs are producers too, so i guess it'd just one step short of the real thing - should make an intereseting event.
it also means that i have to convince them i can dj too and i dont just sit there all day makin tunes...well ok i do do, but i can mix too - i think |

Yeah... you're mixing ain't half.. bad....
How long do you spend practising mixing in comparison with actually producing tunes?
Personally, I still have to develop DJ skills....
but the way.. i see it .. is that it is something that anybody can do as long as you practise enough..
and have an ear for music.....
I tend to sit by the pc most of the time and produce....music... rather than spend time playing track after track. and mixing it (which is a skill... don't get me wrong).... I just think the real skill and talent lies in the producer....
The dj is just the medium..... and if you're dj'ing your own tunes.. or playing your own tunes live..
even better....
But that's enough kak talk..... I've still got a whole lot to learn!!!

yes, 3-7 december with the eclipse on the 4th - the SA2002 booklets should be arriving at an outlet near you along with the presales.
presales for this event are already available at www.Etnicanet.net (online shop) - with max 2 weeks delivery time.

Rinkadink.... has been added to the lineup to play a live set.
look out for him.
he's a genius!
was hoping that Artifakt would get a chance to show his talent to the world too.... but I guess.. that nobody up at vortex.... seems to think the same?
I see that Aleph, Skragg, and Moshe are also going to be there... that should be awesome! i'm sure they'll churn out some good tunes!! represent! |
