hello everyone
normaly we are not big fans of putting such things in public, but as it seems to be the only thing we can do for the moment we let ppl know what happen in our case.
We released this track in japan like 9 months ago, worldwide 5 months ago:

We always had contact with a guy named John Nakamura. He promised us since Septmeber last year to pay us for this track. Twice a date was set, last date was end of Novemeber.
Since then..complete silence. The guy dosnt aswner any emails and it seems he bloked us on msn.
So..we can speak only for our case, other artists might got payed...we didnt, and it seems we wont get payed never.

Vision Quest?!!! Damn I thought that was a respectable Business in the scene.
Never gonna buy anything VQ from now.

umm i think its more of the new concept : "if its an up and coming artist in comparison with the rest he/she should not get paid or should get paid a fraction of the amount"
exists is pretty much every psytrance label out there.
selling a track has become a business actually so if you don't know how to push your wares for the just price they just grab it for nothing. sad but true.
Not buying anymore Vision Quest CDs and will add this label to the list till they clear it up. |

Realy sad news guys...I mean i dont make music but many friends ok mine do. And i think you're not alone in that dirty bissnes  Today the most part of labels explain the atrists any bollshit about good karma and trance life-like this man you need make killer tracks this is the way to go i need you best track for uncoming compilation, well you send it for label and see no money only talking..i mean you're all need to open you're eyes , becouse labels are sux and only make money !!! Iam not talking abut all labels ! but the majority...so good luck guys next time think about it before you send music to shit guys. |

Hey guys, same happen over here. I'm A&R of Mandfala Records (France) and agent from a few artists, that list include to Dizzy Mind (Spun Records) from Brazil. I sold the Talamasca remix in the same compilation with the same result, not money and not even a copie from the compilation, we're talking about the same guy and he did the same, the guy doesnt answer any emails and it seems he blocked me on skype & msn as well. I have emails, contracts and some chats we had as evidence of it but.... Big bullshit... anyhow this was one of the main reasons why I decided to change my air & work, to others genres.
Although I have been pleased to work during the last years with professional labels such as Turbo, Solstice, Midijum, Spintwist, Free Spirit Records, Mind Control, Utopia, Mikrokosmos, Hyperflow, Oxygen, among others and I should say that Vision Quest and Spliff Music (Thank god it doesnt exist more) sucks!! well..thers a contract, but based on japanes law, wich means if im not wrong, i would need a japanes laywer...
but anyway wouldnt be worth it...1 hour laywer costs more then advance
