im hapy to read that most of comments are for dispise the stoopid VIP areas.
SO REMEBER!
if you are in a party wich has a VIP area you must get bunch of people and furiously break in to the VIP area.

Get over it my dear friend.
Goa Trance is dead for many years now,psychedelic trance in our days is just another dance music like progressive,trance,techno and more.
Fortunately or not things change and evolve.

I've been to many VIP areas at parties as an artist or guest. Although I've never paid, I know people who have and were quite happy.
The biggest and best VIP area I know started because this particular festival has over 30 international DJs and Artists and even more local artists. You have to look after these artists plus staff, friends and industry people for 3 days in the middle of the forest with no hotel nearby. It is ofcourse very expensive to host this backstage area so came the idea to sell tickets to party people who want to get into this area to save money for the organizer.
Ofcourse no-one spends the whole 3 days in the VIP area! You go out and dance and party with the 10,000 other people outside!
Example of what you get for paying extra to get into the VIP area...
- comfortable sofa / lounge
- table service
- bar with free food and drinks (i think the cocktails had umbrellas in them)
- massage
- private toilets
- small pool (only 5 people can sit in)
- private dancefloor and DJs (ex. Emok, Spacetribe, Tsuyoshi, DJ Lucas... etc.)
- limited to 300 people
*For me, I was happy to have an area I could meet other artists and industry people and make connections. It was a place I could also relax. I was happy for the organizer because it was a success.
*For my friends who paid, they came from another country to go to this festival so it was hard for them to bring a lot of camping gear. They were happy to be in a comfortable place. They were happy to get free drinks and food. They were really happy they could meet some of their favourite artists. The girls were happy with the toilets.
I can see why some people are jealous or feel that it seperates people from the main party / community. Please dont be this way, there is no need, enjoy the party in what way you choose. If you want to feel a sense of tribal community... etc. maybe the smaller festivals and underground parties are the best for this.
The music was like new black polished chrome

Goa Trance is dead for you my friend, for me it still lives in the hearths that purely know what it is about! What we beleive in will transmit to creative energy and will explode in many dancefloors, there is nothing which can go against love! An we love the music and its concept with all our hearths...So please talk in a better way there are still people who love this music so respect that!

without the people on the dancefloor there would be no party... so i think the dancefloor should be the VIP area!
