especially this kind of sound and all the "cluby staff" style, like it was made for 12" only, i realy dont know who to explain it... but i personaly, have this feeling.

Tristan - Audiodrome

A classic psytrance album. It was meant for vinyl and not for CDs, listen to it on the same system with both of them, and you'll notice the difference. And I'm not even going to begin to talk about the more acidic ultra-analogue sounds of some of the goa artists.

And even though trance is NOT techno, are you saying there's no point in using similar technique? You're saying trance DJs have nothing to learn from Techno DJs? And I don't know what techno has to do with house. Really. Enlighten me (other than tech-house, but there's also techtrance, just to remind you). Proove your point beyond saying "you guys are wrong and I'm right", because you're outnumbered, and by people who have earned respect for their opinions.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

i dj with both, vinyl and cd, (only for fun though) and i like both. even if the feeling is different. but there is one thing i don't agree with you: the pitch on my cdjs 100 is much more precise than on my decks. i never have any problems with pitching there, but on the decks i have two or three records who never fit.           Something 'bout those little pills - Unreal the thrills they yield - Until they kill a million brain cells - I'm going down to... Vinyl 100% for the touch, the sound and even the set flow (for me) it's much easier to remember what track is on the record. and trust me, you don't need more then 50-70 records for a 3 hour set, you'll never play more then 15 records an hour (I play about 20 and am considered a freak for cutting tracks to early or mixing them to long).

yes it's heavy. yes u need a stable table and some dort of dust protector but otherwise there is no problem. and it can be done even at the most extreme conditions.           Kinetic Honda GmbH, Worldwide Supliers of Quality noise.

All new labels please note:

Releasing Vinyl may seem expensive, but you will build a LOYAL (mainly DJs) fan base quickly.

(And us vinyl junkies can finally move on from German and Scandinavian trance)

Please?           Within this timeless gathering,
a shining light does dance,
lost from conscious memory,
but visible in trance!

Its not only the labels you have to tell it to... its also the distributors! I was involved in pressing a 12" just recently and we've been holding off on announcing it here and elsewhere in the hopes that a distribution agreement could be secured, but it looks like its not happening - all our inquiries meet with "vinyl doesn't sell" "there is no market for vinyl" "no one buys vinyl" etc! Yet I seem to catch a vastly different picture from all the forums here - curious is it not? I wonder if it has to due with the difference in profit between vinyl and CD... with one its tough to make money back, and with the other it seems that there's a possibly wide margin for profit!

In any case, now we have to focus all our efforts on selling from our own web site (and we'll do that now by email if you wish to make contact - but an online ordering system will streamline the buying process soon enough)... getting the music 'out there' is a lot more difficult that I imagined it would be but so worth doing...

cANT explain, but vinyl sounds stringer and warmer, gets the most out of music i think...
Besides it the coolest!!!
