Trax leaking from yousendit.com
fortunately but however a bit late we received info of trax leaking from here.
Bloodclot knows a guy who has yousendit access..
Many artists(me,claw,paranoize,naked tourist,mubali,blisargon and god knows who else) files have been leeched and these are unrlsd trax..WAVS.as well as project files.
this has to be stopped.
this is for awareness to stop uploading trax/projec files on yousendit by all artists .. infact any servers with the artists name on it.
My 2-3 tracks have leaked from there - Bloodclot has agreed to have recieved them.
thank bloodclot for sharing this info.
Need to know more abt tis guy.. and stop this bulshit..if i meet him ill butcher him seriously.. it takes alot to make trax..and these are being easily traded which is not done.

Does he has access to the "secured" transfers as well?
Why not zipping the files and securing it with a password before sending? Should prevent the theft i think.

Hi,
It has come to my attention - and that of several others - that people with access to the download links for files uploaded onto yousendit may be distributing them to their friends. Yousendit is often used by musicians and producers like myself to transfer music between artist and record label, and there appear to have been a number of occasions where unreleased (and therefore commercially sensitive) music has come into the hands of people other than its intended recipients. Part of yousendit's marketing strategy in the past has been to emphasise the secure nature of the transfers, so I am sure you will be interested in this.

i tried this also man its not working as u think this traders will do everything to steal u the music they fuck us and fuck our scene there is no evolution with sharing works of some ppl

I don't think zip password protecting the files will solve the problem, probably it will only slow down the thieves since since breaking encription these days depends mainly on the computional power.
I think the project files leak is the worst problem... Please take good care of your music and keep doing it.

I see.
Thats why i refuse to accept and send any tunes through the net.
Old good cds will always be the best solution for serious labels and artists,except ofcourse if your mailman is seriously into psy trance hehe.
Oldschool methods rules.
