finaly its happen. if u have burned cds in your case they will find u (they come on stage and check your case) and u gotta pay few hundreds euros, very nice i think !!! hope it will happen in Israel asap!!

that seems pretty retarted considering I know a number of people who buy cd's, burn them, and leave the real ones at home and carry around only the burned ones(including 2 dj's)
or maybe I missed something? |

well, those 2 will not have any problem, they will just put the originals into the case on the way out to next gig:)

i carry originals, but as a result i "misplace" about 2 cd's a month, and never see them again.
this is strange to police people about burning their own personal copies... but technically it says on the cd that it cannot be reproduced to be used in public commercial event... so they have a point.
so NO, u may not legally use your burned copies, even if you are the one who has the original as well.

Looks like the stupidest law enforcement ever.
Sorry, i WILL make copies of my original cd's shall i ever dj somewhere.
Israeli police has so many good reasons to arrest ppl, burnt cds won't be the thing that will send me to jail.

You are allowed 1 copy of eny cd you buy, by law however i dont know how, you could prove this ..... enyway eny Police man that even comes close to my music and whants to have a look can **** right off ......
for this to happern enyway you must be in some wierd Party ..... it must be a club or comercial event ....

i'm not sure about the law in germany but here in holland you are alowed to make a copy of stuff you buy.,
i dont think that the police is allowed to make you pay anything unless you confess you don't own the originals.,
they have to prove you have an illegal copy, not the other way around.,

hehehe....it's not that funny at all guys...
I live in germany and I already heard about such things happen at techno parties more than half a year ago...but I don't think it will affect the trance scene that much, more the commercial techno scene and clubs in big cities like hamburg or berlin...
I heard some time ago that this should already happened at the weekly trance-club Traxx in hamburg! I wasn't there, but friends of mine...
but I don't think that the cops will come to voov or so to ask the dj for his originals...
this will just happen at indoor parties in big cities I think...and not very often at psy-parties at all...
all in all, I think it's a pretty stupid idea...
the cops have better things to do than come to parties and ask the dj for originals...
