Sampling royalty free spoken word content from the internet in style. Using multiple online police, fire, railroad and air traffic control scanners to record original real life drama, glitches and drones for usage in music and sound design.

Dang from the topic name seem like spam

Great video bring more of those! Thanks for sharing.

Btw, the really high brightness in your screen really makes you eyes shine , maybe you could make it a bit darker for your health?

Delays make gold rays!

With the noise generated by having the 6 streams playing simultaneously, you some cool phasing effect I imagine if we mess with the single stream volume individually, we could modulate this phasing.. Do you know any way in Windows to route each scream into a DAW channel? (in Linux, there's JACK . amazing software, but buggy in Windows..)

Awesome last line, sample that! No way you're gonna sue yourself           Super Banana Sauce http://www.soundcloud.com/knocz

well you can play each stream in winamp or another program as well, and if your soundcard has multiple source and destinationn wave player modules route each one to there. probably most don't.

another way, is if there is a daw or other software that has asio and lets you stream from the net, donno if that exists though.

did you try to denoise those streams?, think it could be more of a pleasure to have cleaner and less noisy sounds..still a cool idea

sure you can, why not. just showing how to get the source, whatever after as with anything options are endless.

and yes, denoisers respond to it well. put some lowpass, some highpass and then denoise and it cleans it up somewhat.

nice tip. things like police communications are cool.
but I don't want any sad drama or horror samples in my music.

sometimes I use the fl multiband compressor "small radio" presets for that instant radio effect.
putting a denoizer or deesser after it helps.

well me neither actually, but sometimes there is borderline vauge drama that is cool.

like i once caught a police dispatcher sending officers to a house and the situation was someone was hallucinating things so the dispatcher described some things and i ended up with sentences like "she said her house was freaky" lol why not

That is a great idea, to always have a live channel on your live sets to the local police department, so everybody knows what is going on. Priceless, really.
