Argghhh...Why on Valentine's Day? I want to see Parasense so bad. I've been waiting for them to come to the area for so long. My girl isn't into this form of music so I won't be making it there. Oh well, there is always next time. Have fun everyone.

i came to new york from mexico in the summer and stayed there for a few months, and this is what i have to say about the tsunami parties:
booooooooooo..............booooooooooooo
tsunami sucks!!!!!!!!! anybody that has been to one of their parties will know what to expect - overpriced tickets, overpriced drinks and overpriced coat check. and who can forget the rood and disgusting behavior from that old ugly guy who runs the business (dont remember his name). and worst of all - the worst sound system in the world.
i got such a bad vibe from the orgenizers that it is hard for me to say anything else.
I just farted ;-) |

I just wish for you guys that Astral will show up and won't make up last minute fuss. Last time they were supporsed to come in Montreal they cancelled last minutes because the promotor booked them a plane ticket on air canada insted of the israeli airline EL-Al(wich was almost double the price). They also said they wouldn't play without 2 Sh-101, old vintage synth that is impossible to find in Montreal and that they didn't use anyways the last time a saw them live.
If you ask me these guys are just two clowns who are making a big scene each time to get tons of of gear they never used. Last time they played a multichannel ADAT dirrectly plug in the board and were faking to play on the keyboards that were not even plugged. Personally I have no repect for their "rock star" attitude and their lack of any interrest in anything else then money and fame.
I don't have a very strong opinion of Tsunami and John Emmanuel either. This guy ripped off at least two promotors from Montreal, taking deposits on booking for Israeli artists and just kept the money for him without booking anyone. Shame on him ... too bad Synthetic Sadhu rests in peace, I guess Tsunami have no more serious competitor now. |

BUT ..
.. i continue to belive in the greatness of this production ... AFTER ALL - who is bringing the great acts to new yor - sesto sento, xenomorph .. parasense, astral .. come ON !!!!

as hard as I try I can't understand the connection between Astral and Parasense...who the hell made this line up? hello...!! any way Iv'e been to many Tsunami parties in my time in NY...it used to be good but lately all I hear is bad talking about it...too bad no one else is organizing psy parties in NY...hehe

well to give my devotion to the psy scene here am sure to go for it....keeping in mind that India is playin Australia that nite...
yea in comparision to other cities tho we do not see a great party happening every week...but i feel thas better ...in a way u wait for it and enjoy more..
and yea definately if there is anything i can do to hel organisers organise sumthin here in Ny...would appreciate
all said and done

im also going ofcourse but i think this party is going to be freakin wierd....
astral and parasence together??? there's no connection between them, and also this party going to be in the limelight?!?! wierd wierd wierd.
