Vaishiyas - Flaxible (Spin Twist Records, Feb 06)

Hi All !
Spin Twist second release is Vaishiyas new album, it called "Flaxible". The style is groovy progressive all over. This is the second album of Vaishiyas after he released his debut album (Flaxid) in Jumjam Records on 2002.
1. Anything
The first track is a perfect opening for a good progressive album - intersting intro and after the first minute, enter a phat baseline with nice male vocal which repeat it self many times.
2. Confusedanced
This one is more slower and easy, it is the kind of tunes you will not remmember for long time but still it's a enjoyable one. The track always rolling and pump on slow BPM with some cool elements.
3. Dat Tuner
Great minimal-progressive track ! I really like Vaishiyas fat kick. this one will not make people get crazy on the dance floor, but make them smile for sure (and thats the most important thing). The vibe here is amazing !
4. Flaxible
The title track should be one of the highlights of the album and thats exactly what happen here. It's start with smart building and when the kick get in, every one must jump higher and higher. I can find here more melodies & playings. I think that more games and changes would help here, but still it is a great tune.
5. Fly to me
The 5th track start with electro-vocal and 18 second later, without any warning, enter a danceable kick which force you to move your head with the tempo. The vocal here is a special one and it add a lot to the track it self. "Fly to me...." 
6. Made in
"Made in" is a bit different from the last five track, from the begining it's start with a mysterious playing and than start smooth kick. Maybe you'll think it's a boring tune but you need listen properly for see all the developments on the track.
7. Numpad
Dance floor groover ! Vaishiyas style is so good and suprising  ump: this is the hit of the album for me because the special influence I get from it.
8. Quadrace
Here you can feel some full-on influences. This one is more fun and exciting because there are more games with the baseline. I think this track can be a good choice for build a groovy-progressive set. The brake on 03:20 kicked me from the chair
9. Trappander
Last but not least is "Trappander". The direction isn't change and it still pure progressive beats with sophisticated ideas, even some guitars are played here - nice way to end this proggy experience.

helllo!,, hey i no listen yet the album but im really sure this album is really nice
i like much the works of vaishiyas, i have the first cd , and is reallt nice, im secure this new work of vaishiyas is more better, and he will demostrate evolution in the progressive vibe he show us...

wow hannes, amazing album! especially "fly to me" is a burner. i played it many times and the floor rocked:-)

Another fine album from Vaishiyas. While their debut album "Flaxid" was quite pumping minimal, relatively dark and nighttime-oriented, "Flaxible" is quite different. There is much more emphasis on sunny grooves and simple, uplifting melodies, and there are quite a few vocals in the pot as well. That is my biggest critique about the album by the way - some of the vocals seem too dominant.
But overall a fine progressive trance album with "Made In", "Numpad", "Flaxible" and the guitar-track "Trappander" standing out in my opinion - certainly an album made with the open air festivals in mind.
