Quite a good VA! mix of morning sounds with a night edge to it...
compiled by DJ Vlado.
1. Silicon Sound - 'On Your Marks'
This is a good first track for a compilation... totally full on, but still quite a minimalistic and clean track for Silicon Sound. Nice warm bass and spacey tones flowing through the track... must say that I expected a more layers and power, but played at the right time this can be a great track.
2. 2 Hi (aka Marcello V.O.R) and Vibra - 'Pollen'
A Slightly chunky track with a swinging bass line and groovy trebble rhythmes.
Track doesnt really change that much, kind of stays the same all the way through. Great for when you just want to maintain the same level.
3. Point - 'Mystic Phase'
More power comming into the compilation with this track... still a morning sound track though, with a slightly dark edge because of the trebbles... the morning sound comes in through the flute hanging around in the background. Nice changes in the track here and there, double basses, and the odd bass overload.. in the middle the track starts to get groovy-spacy. Good track to play just as its starting to get light.
4. Z Machine - 'Chanting'
Like the title says.. the track is layered with this one chant in the background.
Track is more groove than psychadelic but it has some spacey parts.. i like the way the chant is mixed into the track, its not too loud and hides in the sound well... nice track but nothing special. the last 45 seconds are the best part
this record label will be releasing Z Machines debut album, lets see what it sounds like
5. Eskimo & Vlado - 'Jinja Ninja'
Bass assault... nice! power of the masses. i like this track a lot... and audio mixed very well... lots of stuff going on in the track yet it still sound like one round psy-machine.
you can hear the Eskimo influence very well in the track, those bass breaks and trebble rips.. no vocal samples which is nice for a change  The bells in the track add the morning touch... and toward the end the bass and the bells go together super.
6. Parrket - 'When the Northern Roads Arrive'
amazing. who is this artist?!!
Night power.
evolved energy bass going on...
Nice raw trebbles scraping the sky and lazers shooting all over the track. When the bass takes over your ego smiles. mystical power.
I just listened to it again... its probably the best track on this album.
7. Z Machines - 'R U Crazu?'
Z Machnies def. has quite a unique sound.
This track does go quite crazy for the first half... psychedelic twisting and turning. Then half way through it smoothes out a bit. fresh air. then goes back into it, the last part is best... mix of smoothflying and psychaos.
8. Alternative Controle - 'Pukka Music'
This track name is the same as the record company name...hmmm It has a def. morning melody in it, not too fluffy which is nice, a bit raw and aggressive but def. morning
kind of a wizzy noise sound at some parts.
the bass line is sound very now and the melodies sound like distorted 1997 melodies.
9. Sixsense - Buddha Space
Another morning track. Starts of with warm basses and open melodies... in the middle it gets more aggressive and the melodies, get a little sharper. Track has many changes and fade-mix points which can be usefull.

over-all an interesting VA. I like the powerful tracks a lot. and I like the VA because it has a broad range of tracks yet they still all go well together.

My farorites are ;
1 - Amazing track by Johanes...Big quality...morning blasting!
5 - Of course ,Eskimo ....style .Nothing to say ,just pure dance floor.
9 - Big suprise...really amazing morning track ,very nice melodies and great vibe in this one...
The rest ,not my cup of tea.

Okei, wat a surprise to see this album hardly been reviewed.
It opens up to new powerful dimensions.....top production, top sounds, top artists.
A one in life time cd. No joke. Yes Joke, no joke, well, find out for yourself.

Very nice full on compilation. Mike A thanks for the tip (meaning your review).
P.S. I especially like the 'Chanting' track by Z-Machine. In general I've liked a lot most things I've heard from this project and I'm curious to see what they release next. |

Well it says in the booklet that the next release for Pukka Music will be the Z Machine album. So I guess there is something to look forward to

nice v/a indeed!! i am glad I´ve bought the original, all tracks are excellent. My favourits goes to silicon sound, very good atmospheres and synths, perfect for later morning! Parret is a nice track to start a set, good style from this new project. Also alternative control and six sense ....very good work! nice story melodies.
Congrats Pukka music Records, I am waiting for the next release already!

music for  girls
and i like girls - hehe
most of the artist - are the ones that i really like.
also point - that i was really impressed from their album - did not disapoint me.
my favorite - sixsense - buddha space - amazing tunes KILLA

 I espected much better tunes...think that this compilation is very much death.Only tune that is  -sixsense:buddha space...wow

hello my friend Parrket is from servia and you have reason track 6 is the best track very strong begining in this tune...
Geaneraly is a very good compilation...
