Well this is another gem from Noize conspiracy recds. this is their 3rd release and it packs quite a punch.
the track list and review are as follows:
1. void - burn 144 bpm: this is a pretty standard void track full of the guitar samples and all. the guitar samples to me sound overused, and very similar to those present in french connection. its an old formula that they have used well. especially with the sample of 'burn motherfucker burn". i saw void play this in a dj set and it certainly packs a fair share of damage. not quite my taste as it doesnt present anything that hasnt already been presented many times before. but it serves well as an opener to a compilation. 7/10
2. menog - men are monsters 144 bpm - this is another bomb from dani menog. i love this guy's style. super aggresive yet melodic. blows me away every time. a standard menog track which reminds me very much of his track violent operation on va - colour saturation off space tribe's label. a banger of a track none the less. 8/10
3. toxic - perfect crime 145 bpm - this is the BOMB of the compilation in my view. i love this track. the melody and the pucnh are just ideal. i think the sounds that avi used in this track are new and something we havent heard from him before. its simply put it a bomb that should drive any dancefloor to a frenzy. if u dont believe me listen to the samples online. serious mayhem - i kid you not. 10/10
4. claw in noize - conspiracy files 144 bpm - this is a unique offering from claw. on the most fundamental level its a rmx of the x-files theme, full of samples of agent scully and mulder. its an assortment of weird sounds, and deep layers all culminating in a wild ass venture into the world of 'paranormal activity'. heheh. its not what id classify as a 'stomper' but its interesting to see claw's take on twilight music. and its not bad at all. 7/10.
5. psychotic micro - loosing it 146 bpm - the tempo is picking up and the micro boys are here to show us what they have been upto. this track is simply put it - twilight mayhem. its wicked and sick and i love it. its a big departure from the chemical crew sound and the style is hard and aggresive along the lines of time split, and eternal sanctuary. what gets me everytime in this track is the tune they introduce around the 5 min mark. its insane and the build up takes no prisoners. another bomb on this compilation. leaves me drooling for their album 'edge od insanity'. 9/10.
6. Delysid - Zero Gravity 148 bom - here the compilation reaches new furious peaks of intensity. this track is a monster. delysid have been causing big waves all over with their releases and unique sound. this track is just wicked. and if i remember correctly mike from noize conspiracy calls it his favourate track. the style here reminds of menog alot, except at a much more aggresive tone. its a dancefloor bomb and is sure to be the track that drives ppl out of their minds. 10/10 .
7. shift - cerebral cortex rmx 147 bpm. no twilight compilation is complete without a contribution from shift. this is a wicked ass track, and as seen by the tempo furious as only shift can possibly be. this track starts off with some spooky bell sounds and quickly evolves to a monster. heavy bass and atmospheres contribute to a gritty, acid - ridden ride which leaves u 'shifted' to a new dimension . if this track as well his other releases( ice age, dead meat, ...) are any indication of his next album, then we are in for a treat... . 9.5/10
8. psychotic demon - voisses conspiracy 146 bpm. this is a collaberation which has been seen a few times before. winter demon and psychotic micro combine forces on this one. its a pretty neat track which to me sounds more like winter demon than the micro boys. even the other release 'dead can dance' struck me the same way. their 1st release 'uze it for evil' sticks out the most in my opinion with its hard as hell bassline synonimous with the micro sound. anyways this is a pretty sweet track none the less. far from a standard filler, a kick ass track for most fans of the winter demon sound. 7/10.
9. neurmotor vs electrocult - robotic syndrom 148 bpm - another fast track. this track represents the french twilght master nueromotor (frederick taala) and electrocult. this collaberation had a release earlier on va - brain chemistry. and this track we have here is mean and tight. the bassline and atmospheres are slick and tight. they truely give the sense of the robotic syndrom . expect wild build ups and noisy leads as only nueromotor provides. a great track which will drive dancefloors mad. a great way to finish off this compilation. 8/10.
this compilation represents so many different sounds of the twilight genre. its simply put it a must have of any one who listens to this kind of music- especially those who dig the tunes of labels like yabai, timecode and nexus media. a must have for any dj. noize conspiracy have outdone themselves with this release and i eagerly await their next release.
overall - 9/10
favourates - 3!!!,5!!, 6!!!!,7!

Its got to much of repetative leads and its boring.
Not my kinda trance i would say the delysid track is decent, a killer amongst the fillers.

But i look fwd for more releases from mike.

Delysid track is nice, kinda saved the release.

I heard only the samples, but didn't liked half of them. The other half is ok.

i think most ppl might have expected this compilation to be full of dark night time music, like greekadelia, but this follows a comparetively lighter style along the lines of the combat album. anyways i think that the label will probably be pushing towards both these kinds of music, that is the uber dark noise, to the lighter twilight tunes as well. anyways to each his own.

Dude... this compilation is Killerr....
I heard it yest .. was blasting each and every track loud... ...
Wat da faak is void's track doing on this va .. guitar rock shit ...
menog wid his killer stuff as always...
Toxic .. I see a slight change in his style.... or may be in this particular track...
Psychotic micro gives us a hint abt whats gonna be unleased in their up commin album ..
thn didnt like claw n noise.. didnt like this track.. x-files r too cheesy to fit this.. if not for tht smaple the track is good..
Delysid has good variations in this track.. too chunky and quiet of a stomper.. liked this track...
shift track is decent enough to fit this v/a ..
psychotic demon ..another stomper from these mofo's...(liked this track )
neuro at its best wid electrocult..good trah though
In all I liked 2,3,5,6 and 8
too Noize conspiracy and all involved
