The ultimate tribal ambient journey ... indeed.
Agitato Rec. are releasing their third Chillum compilation. I did not hear the first 2 ones, but I can say that this one is simply exquisite.
A lot of unknown names (for me at least), and some known that impress me a lot, such as Cybercartel. I came to a conclusion that psychedelic full on artists (which I usually don't connect to thier music) make simply excellent chillout / ambient tracks (another example is Talamasca in Module 01).
The music is ambient, floating, tribal at times.
Not too downbeat, which makes it excellent for listening in the car after a party and of course at home. Melodic tracks, beautiful and not cheezy. Makes you walk around with a smile on your face and makes your mind wonder.
Nice cover, perfect for an ambient c.d.
To sum it up, very very worth it.
Way to go Agitato.

Oh yes RaverGirl, I agree with U, I'm not so much in the Full-On vibration (of course there are tracks that I loOve !).... but : the Full Freak Artists are particulary skilled in Chill-Out creation..
BTW i'm waiting pretty hard for this cd... cause i own the first ones... and some of the tracks on them are true masterpieces...

well i didnt listen to this yet but for some reason from a listening to chillout tracks that made by fullon artist i think it's sound to me a little comerciale and not so supisticeded the writing of those tracks is made like a fullon just with lowing the bmp,it's true that there are a great melodies and motions but imo they sounded me a bit chezzy.
though,i need to listen to this one and hoping that i'm worng.

im in same thing as o.zen, usualy all full on producers make their chill stuff by lower the speed of their reguelar stuff so its sounds slow and melodic, but usualy lack of build ups, lack of high taste music, lack of realy clear production, thou i didnt heard this cd i talk from my expirience from past, i used to like astralasia, cosmosis and etc chill suff till i got a try of ppl who's proffessional specification is downbeats, much better usual.

O Zen, if U mean Cheesy like for exemple Infected MushroOms ' -Elevation- on Another Life, then allow me to say that you're wrong.. (no offence).
Of course we can never express generalities.... but some artists try definitely not to 'only' slow down what could have been a 140-150 bpm track !
The chillum series ARE a goOd Exemple
And The chill-Out stuff by Dragonfly Records ESPECIALLY also..
And as usual, my strict definition of "full-on" artists is not so clear and.. static (i may express myself badly but... I'm trying  )

TKY is zaidman yaniv. from our little ISRAEL.
I heard several of his music, and really liked it.
from what i have heard he is making ambient, cheelout & downbeats.
i recoment to put an eye on his moves.

I MUST hear this one!!! I like too much the others Chillum 1 and 2.
Space Buddha - Okapi and TKY - Atmosphere (both from Chillum 2) are amazinggg!!! 
That's the kind of ambient i like to hear (in home, car, chillout...wherever)

didin't knew ya TKY...i'm getting more and more interested about chill out sounds everytime a new copil is released, the musics are being very well produced, not only for a chill...your mind just float... good sound made... congrats
