So my last Friday day started good. I woke up, got dressed and ready, and I went to my favorite café with a good book. Just a quiet Friday morning. When I passed by my mailbox I have surprisingly found a CD in it. It was the latest chill out compilation by Peak Records, home of the Peaking Goddess Collective.
Peak Records don’t usually release chill out albums and compilation. They usually release “real” trance. This is a very nice exception from their side. I’m glad they’ve made that exception.
The CD is very relaxed from start to end, with nice sounds and melodies. It builds up an atmosphere very well, in an elegant way, with a thin line of storytelling behind the scene, using all sorts of instruments, sounds and vocals.
It was a very relaxing day for me and had been so with the great help of this new compilation. I’ve listened to it three times in a row on the same day which probably means that I find this a great chill out compilation. Relaxed and easy, great atmosphere there. Go get it.

Karnaf           Please REMOVE my cellphone number from any SMS spam list you may have. Thanks.

Actually 'I Know That I Know' is by far the stand out track on this compilation so my complements to the chef!! I sat down with a smoke and listened to the album with a friend of mine. He's an obsessive psytrancer, whereas I like my psychill/ambient, but we were both equally blown away by Track 3.

I also liked the track before it, 'Shanti', and 'You Are One' featuring the fantastic Alex Grey.

Good stuff. More please!
Peace 3;~

And now I know you know I know the circle is complete 3;~Om

Thanks for the tip on the new compilation, I will definitely keep an eye out for it. Any advance on the origins of the sample you used on 'I Know...' would also be gratefully received. It's brilliant!

Happy tweaking :->

The sample is from :
ALAN WATTS: THE NATURE OF CONSCIOUSNESS, part 2 of 3
" There was a young man who said 'though
It seems that I know that I know,
What I would like to see
Is the I that knows me
When I know that I know that I know."

Alan Watts (1915-1973) was a zen philosopher, writer, and speaker.

Thanks so much for that, I appreciate it. Interestingly I have quite a lot of Alan Watts' audio already, but I'm pretty sure I don't have this one so will have a hunt. It's such a mind bending sample and it adds an extra special dimension to an already great track. Good luck with future productions.

Peace and Love 3;~
