i think this is a standout comp. Full of dancefloor fillers and some more subtle moments that are also pretty amazing.

Dousks remix has worked wonders for me along Duca, Nipp rmx and Fiord rmx.

Well done again TVR crew!           http://www.facebook.com/GlenC.IbogaRecords

Tribal Vision Records, a progressive trance, house and electro label situated in the Chezch Republic which also works as a booking and artist management agency has been bombing the music market with experimental yet brave releases exploring the one thing that scares the human kind and that is “The Unknown”. Presenting their final release V.A. - Cabaret compiled by Slater - the label manager and Kaa one of the label's VDJ, which at first glance shiners with the artist rooster on the paper, setting my hopes at a high level expecting that this compilation will smash dance floors all around the world. Let's see what did Tribal Vision had in mind.

Starting off very deep into to seemingly bottomless chasm, joining bits into programmed repetitive sequence of blurred sounds, created, structured and refined by the Strom brothers(T1).The Sinister pads, emphasize the concrete drum work with the murmuring vocal very, very dark at moments. A well synthesized tribal piece of art, softened by age of experience electrified to an extent towards it's ending(T2). Experimental, acoustic, F.M. Noised, oscillated bass, uplifting synths, spacey percussions, all put together to make a modest filler and somehow ticklish addictive track(T3). The tribute to KLF is an interesting track, made in the widely known Tegma style, that is: independent and unique. It took a while until I got infected with the 303 trip, but now life is easier since America is discovered(T4). An ongoing super cool grove loop, on which an uplifting synth is added making it a powerful club track with a techo-house feeling which at given moments reminds me of Disco Slickers stuff. Neat!(T6) The intensity of this cd gets bigger marked by the incredible talent of Duca and Alter Breed. Duca always manages to create an distinguishable track which usually a DJ finds it hard to mix and play after it. Slowly evolving, not exaggerating, well polished and mastered, actually this is one of the strongest sides of Duca's productions(T7). Tripped-out disco?! Tight minimal textures and a dance able percussions accompanied by lush effects and repeating waves of mad, berserk techno synth/bass accompanied by those great cymbals! I am unsure of the style, but I can assure you one thing though, it will take down some panties!(T8). As we stroll towards the end, the dynamics a brought down, incorporating mellowness, fluffy beats and cheesy epic/love moments that bring us to the stopping point of this compilation.
Overall this compilation presents the better side of the sonic depth and vibe which roams nowadays between the countless music releases. It's good for home listening but I wouldn't play some tracks at a party hence the big diversity in styles on it. The thing that I like the most in this release is the flow and again the artwork leaves me emotionless and dazzled.

really nice cd, dont think i'll be able to play all the tracks but their all top quality, i really like the Fiord a lot. really deep and solid, plus the melody is so so smooth!

the Astronivo / Zombie is pretty cool, but i just dont like the vocal to much.

the comp stays consistent though and thats really nice, each track being a little different yet all keeping a certain theme, definitely good club music. cant wait to rock some of these out.

nice one tribal vision!

7 outta 10

Got my copy of this
Good surprise. I really connected with that v/a some fantastic tracks here .
Tr 1 Vibrasphere - Wasteland (Fiord remix), is a nice remix and nice start for this compilation, fat bass line and deep.
Tr 2 Astronivo vs. DJ Zombi - Just Move It Up, I dig that track very much, nice minimal with an electro fusion ,I love the second part of it with the sample going inside and the guitar line.
Tr 3 Side A - Punta Bagna , 1 of the best tracks in here in my opinion.
Side a from France did good job in here giving us a tech house and progressive track with a beautiful break and deep hypnotic groove, its not a full power track but its have kind of excellent unseen power, to be played just before the sunrise is coming.
Tr 4 Tegma - What Time Is Up , the only tracks here that isn’t really progressive here, not a bad track , sound like an old school and goa to me, mixed track good dance floor music.
Tr 5 John Deere - Flesh Taste (Luke Porter remix), what a nice track, super bass line, a deep minimal music!
Tr 7 Alter Breed - Pigs & Cows,an electro rolling nice dance music.
Tr 8 Motion & Kaa - Red Led , good electro music as well with nice leading melody and funky bass .
Tr 9 Jaia - Orchestra 2.0 (Nipp remix), wow that 1 is great piece of music, love the melody of the break a nice track to close nice party..(: nice pads inside combine

Tr 10 10. Brisker & Magitman - Discodelic (Dousk remix), last track on the album and we are beck to partying funky beats here with house in fusion, great I dig it a lot

That album is mixed some electro, some progressive house with an old school vibe, nice to sit at home and relax, im sure some of the tracks are great for partying too.
Best track for me here: 3!!,5,9!! And 10.
Good compilation from trv, keep on good work , very recommended

this compilation is for sure one of the best of the year until now!

2- Just Move it UP : really loved the flow...the samples of the guitar in the final reminds me to some desert cowboy stuff...baNg!!

5- Flesh Taste (Luke Porter Remix) - this is the kind of track that u put the crowd on your hands while u are playing....ppl got really surprised with it!

6- Duca - Ducaralho: duo to the name ( ducaralho means something like "IT ROCKS" in portuguese) indeed is this...the track has a great bass line like Dusan always provide.

killer one.

7- Pigs & Cows : For me its the best tune togheter with dousk remix....here in brazil is working perfectly in the floors, and im a little suspicious to talk about this israeli duo...we can expect a lot of bombs to come for them!

9- Orchestra 2.0 (Nipp Remix) : marvelous melodies and flow....this one gives a great tripping during the set....looking forward to more stuff of NIPP!

10- Discodelic(dousk remix) : probably the high point in a set if someone plays it...the turning back after the breaks are really interesting...and what to say about DOUSK ? he is a genius!

Congratulations to TV for this amazing release..and im waiting for the next massive compilation!!
