The Black Sun is the reflection and self-knowledge light. The human being lives unconsciously in two parallel universes: one of them is the one where it is manipulated and only sees what it wants. The other is where always, on the darkness and the unknown, it gets lost. With no light, on the deepest and most obscure corner of the human mind, the Black Sun frightens through doubts and fear, leading us to an extreme unconsciousness so we be able to know and control our reactions to the outside world.
This compilation intention is to show our concept about the human mind powers and encourage people to self-know themselves, as this is one of the main steps to self-evolution.
Self-knowledge will bring us to another level as human beings and we only will be able to achieve it when we face extreme situations that requires effort and mind control.
So, Dead Tree Productions brings you a musical representation of the Black Sun strenght.
Listen it on the darkest and coldest night you are able to.

- DEAD TREE PRODUCTIONS RELEASE
The Dead Tree Productions is an independent label with its main base on Brasil, located in the city of Goiânia, Goiás.
The label aim is to release projects that produces unusual (read obscure) Dark Trance, with concept, intelligence and harmonic sounds.
The Start:
The Dark Trance scene in Brazil is growing everyday, but it is still very small and private in comparison to the countries with more tradition on the style. Along with this new-born scene, new projects came up with quality and good ideas, sounding really different than those which produces using the same formula always.
The will to help the small brazilian scene grow and become world-widely known came after analysing and living it since its beginning.
Clóves and Christian created this label with a straight objective concerning the musicality: danceable or not, the music must be obscure. This is the main feature that both founders are looking for. After the concept was formed, Clóves invited Igor to join the label in order to help organizing and consumating events and releases.
With full spirit and willing to be one of brazilian's scene representatives, Dead Tree Productions will try hard to offer the world what our country and the others have as the best for all the good and obscure Dark Trance freaks!

finally, the so awaited compilation of the first true darkpsy-only oriented label from brazil.. i'm intended to put all my efforts to help this label and crew to grow and develop more and more the brazilian dark psy scene! up the dead trees!

Hell yeah! These 9 deeply obscure tracks ought to be a true breath of fresh air for all darkpsy fans throughout the globe. Don't bother to remember the names of the newcomers 'cause u'll surely hear lots more from these tallented brazillians artists.
So asap get a copy, sit beneath the shadow of a dead tree and watch the rising of the black sun. |
