Iboga Records presents its first compilation in 2006.
This time Yuli Fershtat has compiled a follow up on his succesfull "Set:4" compilation from last year. The tracks is carefully selected through the last 8 months to ensure the same high quality as one has come to expect from an Iboga compilation. On the CD you will find tunes by usual suspects such as Ace Ventura (album coming on iboga in june 2006). Perfect Stranger (album on iboga in february 200 is also present again as well as Sun Control Species, which also has an album coming on Iboga this year.
Further more you will find top tuned tracks by Yotopia, James Monro & Dick Trevor, Morax and an interesting collaboration between Annarchy (Anna Hefetz), Dick Trevor (from Green nuns of the revolution), and George Barker (From Slinky Wizard).
Elegant universe is another interesting collaboration between the two israeli artists Miki Litvak & Amir Hardon,
Miki also very well known as "Domestic". Last but certainly not least we can present the debut release of the new project "Fish by Yuli Fershtat and the notorious Dj Zombi.

Yep,
This supposed to serve all the hibernating bears in their caves during the winter as well as those trancers that dance till the noon / afternoon hours

its a cracker of a release, the best ive heard from iboga in a while. Sun Control, Ace Ventura, Perfect Stranger and James Munro vs Dick vs Anna are fully landmark- and the fish track arent half bad either!

ohlala, didn't even recover from the last superb release... and iboga is releasing another smashing compilation.
i really like ace venturas style. a true veteran to the scene in many aspects.

Tracklist:
James Monro Vs. Dickster – Wash Out (extended Verse), 130 Bpm
The Cd starts out with a track by the two old boys James Monro and Dick Trevor. They have written a very fine track with a sensitive flow, mellow but yet very uplifting. There’s focus on the tiny melodies at the top frequencies making it “airy” and waving perfect for the outdoors. Believe me I did test it a couple of times already.
Yotopia – New Born 130 BPM
Yotopia has impressed with their debut album on Flow Records and some single tracks on compilations around. They have become known for a sound with a somewhat “soft” expression, blending deep groovy elements and small melodies surrounded with floating sounds. This track is very “sun soaked” if you ask me, and it is in my opinion one of the best from their side so far.
Morax – Out of the Blue, 134 BPM
Out of the Blue comes Michael Reznik aka “Morax”. It is the second release on Iboga following his track on Set: 6 by Frequence. This one is based on a hammering fat bass line, just wobbling with juice and adding contrast to that melancholic dark blue atmosphere. The mix sits just perfect. I would play this one just before dawn. What can I say, top drawer stuff…
Ace Ventura – R.I.S.E., 130 BPM
Yoni Oshrat is mostly known for his work in the duo “Psysex”, but with his project “Ace Ventura” he has played a strong role in the newer chapters of the “iboga book”. He has written the very big hit “Cardiac Arrest” as one of the highlights. R.I.S.E. is a blast of a tune with atomic clock tight rolling percussion and thundering fat bass lines. It’s a peak time bomb, no doubt.
Perfect Stranger – Bliss, 133 BPM
This track is special one in the sense of being very nostalgic. It almost reminds me of the first dragonfly album some 12 years ago, trancy and bubbling with melancholic melodies. I do like to be nostalgic at times and that’s why I really like this track. Take a beautiful and well-written ride down memory lane.
Annarchy, Dickster & Barker – Eargate, 130 BPM
What a collaboration is the first that pops to mind. And the track itself is a pure bomb. It is one of those that just grow on you. It contains a rock solid groove, that after a long and beautiful intro setting the mood, leaving you drooling. Building up and adding layers until it explodes without going totally over the top. Yes sir!
Sun Control Species – Push Trough, 135 BPM
When I was in Australia recently I was amazed about the amount of respect that lies around Andrews’s work and person. He is the local hero if you can say that about Australia. His sound is somewhat the epitome of the “underground” progressive sounds coming up from “down under”.
Tribal percussive rich sound with sweeping pads and fat groove. You can almost feel the heat of the outback bush sun, so to speak.
Elegant Universe – Buggy One, 130 BPM
Towards the end of the compilation we get a real sweetie. Like the name suggests it is elegant. It’s slightly melodic melancholic, based on a solid groove in the deep and slow end. Collaborating in this project, we find Miki Latvik, also known as “Domestic”, and Emir Hardon.
Fish – Gotta Get On, 130 BPM
Yuli and DJ Zombi have been turning the knobs together on this tune, which is their debut release under the name “Fish”. It is a tribal monster with a massive “swamp frog” breakdown if you will excuse my twisted brain. Solid groover to end this compilation, waking you out of your hibernation if you should happen to be covered in winter and snow like we are here in Denmark at present.

Iboga going to groove us well this year.
This fantastc compilation is just the first teaser for what I told before (After this will come "Set 7" comp and the albums of : Liquid Soul, Ace Ventura, Sun Control Species and Freq), so what the fu#! we can ask more.

Welcome back iboga from Hibernation 
the track list sounds really amazing , sun control species and perfect stranger are becoming for shure one of my favorites mind explorer artists really funky and dancing music ,and ace ventura again im still getting some air from the cardiac arrest, the collaborations sound pretty cool

The opening track on this compi is one of the most Epic, different , beautiful tracks iv heard in a long time!
I would also point out to watch for the 2nd collabration of Anna, Dick & Mighty George.
Thats a great track indeed and really strong dancefloor material 
Well done Yuli and really looking forward to hearing the other stuff on this release.
