Seminal, super chilled vibes selected by Lobogistic Labs owner, Pete Pan. High quality artist ISHQ opens the CD with a smooth subliminal ride into ambient heaven. This is followed by papa leggba, recounting ambient tales with lush sounds dripping from liquid speakers. Blessed, lowtempo and fluid. Cell continues the ambient feel. After this track there is no coming back. Solar fields follow this track with a remix of their track originally released on Ultimae, the classic French chill label. Ishq...

Taken from http://www.amboworld.com           Music may not take us to the Moon or let us live forever, but as we enter trough the doors it is opening before us, we find things far beyond our everyday experiences..

yes indeedee... this hit the dirty doormat last weekend and completely floated my ears into outer space! I am very impressed with Ishq's new work, seems to be taking a more psychedelic lilt in the opening track than others I have heard from him. Looks like Lobo Labs have served up a chasm of delight for all who like to kick back and let the world go by. Absolutely love the Magic Eye rmx from Solar Fields - builds into a whispy, curving gem of a track, nice odd samples adding to the gliding atmosphere..

Highly recommended.

The ishq songs are actually kinda old... But, they are still great. He's always had that 'psychedelic' lift in his songs. Really great artist... Shame he doesn't get enough recognition.

Why artwork is so bad?...despite of the fact that the selection is so great?...What a strange artwork choice?!

All the best, anyway!...Music is the essential, isn't it?

Actually I only have a hand full of Ishq tracks, I don't have his album...!! I think I will add it to my ever growing wish list after listening to this

I think he is about to start getting more recognition if an "under wraps" collaboration, I know of, surfaces. Sorry, no details from me, just a heads up that something good is happening in the shadows.

Ishvara? If not, you best be telling me right this instant!

It's not Ishvara. Check the news section of ishq's website, http://www.ishq.org/. Doesn't say what the collaboration is, but shows that it's not Ishvara. Wonderful, memorable things have already happened with the production of Orchid, and appears more is to come. Patience is the key.

I want sublime, heavenly ambient collaborations...made with painstaking care...and I want 'em NOW!!! especially the new psychedelic-ishq-lift!

Was the artwork really that bad? I sorta liked it and thought it went with the whole gnostic traveller idea. Far be it it wasn't a Quasga design well at least I'm glad you dug some of the tracks

I'm enjoying it. Most of the tracks on here are downright excellent!

The ones that really grabbed me so far are:

03. Cell - Blue Embers

04. Solar Fields - Magic Eye

07. Androcell - Purple Aura

09. Bluetech - Oleander

Pete Pan was obviously very dedicated to get ahold of all these tracks - working in the "remote" east coast of the USA.

The art and packaging should me more psychedelic.

Starting a label and releasing an exemplary first compilation is neither the easiest or cheapest thing to do. I'm pretty sure Pete paid a fair price to get all those tracks licensed from artists/labels so possibly paying out for professional artwork wasn't in the budget. A good cover doesn't always lead to promise but it does bring a needed balance to the overall statement of intent.

Keep going Pete, criticism is all part of the fun!

OK, I support ambient, but quite a few of these tracks appear on artist albums already such as bluetech, androcell, ishq and solar fields....unless these are new versions...anyway for cool artwork check out the Androcell!!

Thanks, Elektric sheep, for the enthusiasm.
