CD - Constance Journey Mixture (IBOGA)

1.Lando & Chrisma - Interesting Places
2.Amphasis - Nasty
3.Slugger - Automan
4.Alegria - We will Dance
5.New Disco Science Alliance - Fractal Fuckers "snorkel edit"
6.EarGear - Diet Disco
7.Antix - Flipped
8.Platform - Interport

Fisrtly , hearing it for the first time may be some boring. All the album is
clubby and not really fits the trance scene.
The album is something between progressive techno and house - not what I was
looking for when i bought this cd.

But.....

1.Lando & Chrisma - Interesting Places - A very nice track to open a cd.
It's slow , it's progressive it's interesting ! . Very liked the end .
Lando came with releases earlier on Novatech and Global Trance Network and more.

2.Amphasis - Nasty - The track has a nice beg , it's also a little bit slow
but the track has a nice precussion games and also nice melodics.

3.Slugger - Automan - This one is my favourite. More techno style of music with
some dark elements like i love.Good rhytm , dynamic and very interesting style.
Very Liked the melody - it's not annoying - it's slow it's dark-like what needed.

4.Alegria - We will Dance - This one is for House lovers. The track is very
melodic very dancable and dynamic. The Track has a nice melody filter changes -
very liked it.

5.New Disco Science Alliance - Fractal Fuckers "snorkel edit"
The track comes in another style of music in album.Didnt really like it -I think
this track doesnt really fits the album

6.EarGear - Diet Disco - Also one of my favourites.Nice track , has more trance
elements than other before.Very liked the way the melody starts - at 4:00 in
cutoff way. The melody is very funky and happy.

7.Antix - Flipped - This one also has very many trance elements than the others.
Good track for listening and relaxing.Good work from Antix.

8.Platform - Interport - The track is a little bit "filler" of the disc.
You can hear the "sound" difference when you play it even at the first minutes.
Despite this - a very nice dynamic track for platform - it's always nice to see
an israeli artist comes in that cd.

General: In my opinion a very good album - liked it a lot. I think most techno
or house lovers will agree with me.

Have A Nice Day

Aboooya.....

I thought this was a very confused release. Couldn't keep with the story here, it keeps jumping moods and feels, and doesn't hold. Also some of the tracks bored me. There are some good spots, but I find this to be Iboga's weakest release.

well, I do like this disc, nice clubby release, though I don't really think it stands the test of time (most stuff doesn't anyway).

actually, I wrote a big review for it in the old forum, check it out: http://www.isratrance.com/cgi-bin/boardnew//YaBB.pl?board=CDReviews&action=display&num=8622           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....

in this case - can u shahar follow the story of baluns releases ?? i remember u reviewd it and say very good words about it (also that u was invited there somehow), so its same concept release imo but somehow "mixture" more elegant, intellegant and danceable.           Believe your soul !

I did not review it, I promoted it ( http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php?topic=4038&forum=41 ). And of course I was involved in the story, in a way I told it, meaning I arranged the trax and gave the compilation its name.
So yes, I understand that story, I hope others could see it as well and enjoy it.
I also think the track in Anotherwise are much more interesting and moving and with a lot more depth.
But, different strokes...

i thought that the confuse of Iboga were "New Entry","Ectoplasma" - a big confuse !!, and a "Crosslink" collobaration (confuse for two great labels).           Believe your soul !

I found the music here very nice - for chilling at home. There isn't much in the way of psychedelia in this album, and not much of a bite to the tracks. Rather a nice groove (heavily house influenced) to all the tracks here, and in their style they're very nice. The Antix track is very, very good, and the Platform one is also nice... the rest were just too fluffy and didn't offer much of what I was looking for.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

Vitaly: I listen to techno all the time... Well, Detroit techno at least. But this is a trance board, not a techno board. Not an electro/IDM board. These albums should be first and formost about trance - or else they shouldn't be reviewed here. The music here isn't bad - it's not my cup of tea, and not that of most people here (for obvious reasons, we love trance above everything else). And Israel historically has a strong trance scene (second only to house, basically).

A guy I talked to once named this style (even though he meant Tegma and Ticon, but it's quite similar in ideology) "cocaine progressive". I thought it was pretty funny.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
