uv backdrop help?

If you're going to paint the black canvas all white, it probably would be a better idea to just get white canvas (or whatever other cloth type you decide to use) but as far as painting just a small area white with spraypaint.....I say experiment! I try new stuff al the time. Some works, a lot doesn't.
I like using black canvas due to the stark contrast between the black background and the bright colors.

I did each layer of color probably 3-4 times (this was before I figured out that I could paint an area white first haha) so the contrast is really sharp

heya pyite - i love your dragon banner, very nice work
i usually paint each coat of uv colour at least 5 times even with
the white undercoat. it is better to paint lots of thin coats than
a couple of thick ones. it stops the paint from cracking and makes
it glow much better.
