I had a blast at the party... It really was a lot of fun. DEA overcame some adversity, but managed to pull off an awesome party. The vibe was flowing all night into the next day, and the music was incredible the entire night. I dug most of Paul's set and as anal retentive as I am on mixing, I actually didn't really mind as much about his mixing in the morning. I am learning to be a lot less critical of other dj's, especially the ones that go all over the place to play... Yes they should have good technical abilities, but they should also be able to recognise how a track should be played. And it wasn't like he was trainwrecking his mixes, they were just a little shorter that what we are used to here. Dutch did not play Nokeyah, can you describe the dj you were referring to by chance??

All in all, I had a blast! I got to unload all of my creations on everyone and I got some good feedback from people. Leo's sound was great as always, and Spook's visuals are always top notch. I am still hurtin from the weekend, but it's a kind of hurt that makes me smile. Till the next time...           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

uh thats a big stretch of time, that the party didnt even span. Do you mean 9am-11am, if so then that was Spook and Nagual. in that order. Spook came on around 9:45. Did he have long hair and a silly expression??

Thanks Mubali for the good review......seemed like a awesome party.and BOOM to your critcism thoughts!!heheheh
You are right about the djiing skills when it comes to good artists travelling a lot around the world. But still there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for BAD djjiiiing(bad beatmatching etc.).I mean if you are recognized as a 'good' DJ and travelling around being paid you better perform. Its like a gardener coming to your house to cut the grass and does a poor job. Whats his excuse?? I cut graases all day and get tired travelling around town??
Till next time friends...
NoKeyAah.........seems like you were on Planet Y during the party...hehehhe..please send me a pm on what exactly you took....will help me find my way there!!!
SHIVA BOOOM!!           Is there hope??
