the artwork is suprisingly nice.. looked so lame when i saw the front cover @ some online store.. but the real thing is pretty cool

overall, the comp is too clubby for my taste. The two Hallucinogen collaborations are excellent, though.. Would love to hear more from Metal Sharon.

I disagree my friend,
i think it's amazing and psychedelic, something is not cluby just because it doesn't sound like cats in a blender, true psychedelia comes from the tricks or games that the music plays with your mind imho.
Small things like the sample in black ops: Holy macroll what is that..." and then this crazy and at the same time wonderful african tribe rythem kicks in, with this beautiful ethnic singing...
Absolutely Brilliant and extremly psychedelic imho.

I hear you, but it still sounds real clubby to me. Can't even listen through the entire compilation without getting bored and skipping tracks. From any other label, that's something I'd expect, but I have higher expectations for Twisted.
Maybe next time.

i'm a bit with dimitry, although i wont use words like clubby here. i dont know why that is, but i dont like this one. i tried but failed.
younger brother's tune is one of the only tunes i get here, also hallucinogen & tristan, but also these seem to me like teasers for something that would show up later in the compilation, but doesnt, imo, the compilation "goes down" from the first track on. the only really good tune here is prometheus' for me, which i feel is the only tune on the cd which has something to tell actually. needless to say i was really dissappointed about the metal sharon, then again i had high expectations.
i'll wait for more.

Pure psychedelic music. Not full on, not dark, not progressive but Psychedelic with a capital P.
My top choice for those moments when after a good trip u want a great ride on the way down.
Younger Brother – Epic Hair
Prometheus – Oscar
Metal Sharon – Balloon Dance
Tristan & Prometheus – Grow More Pot
Hikikomori – Black Ops
stand out as excellent tracks in this great CD.
