Hey ppls i would like to discuss this here ... pleas don't say names of Artists or something like that ... just writhe the story or what u think about ...
and to moderators i: i hope this one don't going to be deleted ...
I think some "big" Artists allways wanna be soooo professional and want to make their buissnes ...
But Funny things happens sometimes :
- don't come for some reason ,
- miss the flight ,
- fergot the Insulin at Home ,
- make a 100% Playback and sit behind the equipement on the coutch and smoke cigarettes , and when the live Act is finished stand up and getting applause ,
- are so fuct/drunk that they can't play anymore ,
- just don't play because of less peoples ,
All thes things i've seen personaly !!
And i think if they wanna do their Job and be professional , they should also come and play ...
I work everyday , sometimes in the rain sometimes it's reaaaaly boring ... but i can't just go home or just not go to work or things like that ... because he pay me ...
... i don't wanna piss at someones leg ...
It's just my opinion

i don't understand how this can be exceptable...
Now i found this thread, after the one i created got deleted because there was alreay one on the same subject..
im quite sure that 80% of the reply's in this thread got deleted already. go figure..
anyways, this is what happen's on some occasions.. artsits miss there flights, show up late, which ruins the progression of the night, leaving tons of hardcore fans puzzled and disapointed.. should this artist still get paid?? what if he missed the flight twice in the same day?? should people take the chance and book this person again for other parties?? Can or should the promotor sue the label for breaking the contract and for ruining there reputation??
Perso, i find its very sad that the scene has come to this.. Artists with such inflated ego's that they feel they can do what they want..
ohh, not to mention, that after missing flights, they would arrive without there gear/cd's or whatever it is they forget...
OR, if your objective on this, do you think the promotors are the one's making up stories like this to false advertise and make money??

Maybe these artists need come back to his own roots, and start to ENJOY again with his work. If all is bussines at least start to be bored, remind your begginings, when you are very happy for sale your first track or album, or when you take your first gig out of your contry and you start to win money...do you remember???? you do the things with LOVE at the beggining.....not all is the money....if you want to be serious and professional, start to be honest with yourself.  |

Phylosophy:
This world is "unfair" but evil balanced well with good .
Laws:
Producer not sign any contract which make his arrive a must .
Moral Rules:
He/She gets money for play and if She/He decide to loose this money because some reason it is his/her own business , also he/she loose next time opportunity to play at same organization , i think it is fair enough .
Solution :
Best punnishment is to get subject in publicity .
Disrespect :
I think to play for wrong crowd or in wrong place it is disrespect for artist . For example me is famous artist and i live in Europe , why would i go to Brazil/Australia or Japan to play there with 24hr flight , at least in Australia and Japan i will sure get money but Brazil still under question ? Or to play on 40 ppl party when i know i won't get full fee ?
There are many reasons to cancel play , think that artist is human so you as organizer must keep him well .
This is organizer duty too !!!!!
