Let's see what deco teams worldwide you people appreciate most, please supply answers to the following, and feel free to suggest more if you want to! Also if you can supply links to website or email of the respective artists, so we can see the works of these artists!

Please reply with your favorite for each of these (multiple answers allowed):

-backdrop painter
-projections
-Deco concepts (constructions etc)
-best printed design (flyer or cd cover etc)
-Party with the most amazing combination of all these that i've visited so far

I'll have Detox calculate the results as soon as the number of replies is adequate

In Israel deco is usually very minimal.

Psyzion got these nice "glowing" things (mushrooms, constructions on the celling).

I'd love to see a party in which the sound output goes trough MilkDrops (winamp visualisation plugin) and a projector. That would be amazing (especially in nature, during night time).

Timmy: take a look at d.M.t. visuals by Guy, he's amazing at what he does, and the result is much more impressive than any milkdrop plugin!!! and he practically lives next door to you!

-backdrop painter:
1) Russian artist that had an outdoor exposition at Boom'02, forgot her name...
2) Punkadelik (France - www.punkadelik.com )
3) Afadecor ( Mexico - http://surfer.mt.net.mk/afadecor )
4) Goodvision ( Russia - www.goodvision.ru )

-projections
1st) projections at Boom'02 on the 9by3meter bigscreen, name of the act is unknown to me untill now (mostly oilbased projections)
3) Glennwiz (Norway - just finished a new dvd project)
3) D.M.T. visuals (Israel - 100% live visuals)

-Deco concepts (constructions etc)
Here I share first place between:
1) Punkadelic -France Mini-Zoom stage setup
( http://www.psygarden.be/vault/albums/albun07/scene_de_nuitrik.jpg )
2) Deliria - Mexico, Canada ( www.deliria.org )
3) Ran Mor Greece / u.s.a ( www.morvisual.com )

-best printed design (flyer or cd cover etc)
1) Psymbolic Communication ( www.psymbolic.com )
2) PSyborg Design - http://www.psyborg.ch.vu/
3) Purpleproject design http://www.purpleproject.co.uk

-Party with the most amazing combination of all these that i've visited so far

Boom 2002 was my most impressive festival, and www.sixofour.org did the most impressively decorated indoor party for me so far.

Alex grey did an exposition at Boom festival 2002, very impressive indeed!

Temple Decor doesn't exist anymore the group split up and each is persueing their own goals now... i'm more than curious to see what they are up to though!

Tribe of frog is indeed veryimpressive, just take a peek at the pictures and you'll be overwelmed! i can't wait to see more from these guys (they'll be visiting belgium in March wheeee!)

It's not that easy to choose any "best" artist in such categories.. many can deserve such a position..           .

just to add on...great, great, tremendous visuals by all of the artists suggested here. too bad they don't offer larger formats so people could print them and use for room decoration

to many copycats using graphics for flyer designs without permission... if you mail them you can order prints in most cases though!!!           www.psytracks.com :: Brand new website for sharing your psytracks with the world. Get a free 250Mb Artist profile, Blog and events calender!

no, if this would involve actually displaying their work in real life, getting all (ore more than 2-3) the crews together would be impossible, or at least extremely expensive... some of the deco crews charge 2000-3000 euro's to come over for a party... having a show with more than one at a time hardly ever happens...

judging these works by pictures is more a matter of good photography.

Also, real awards would mean prizes, and there is no money for that (i'm already investing my private money in the gallery (and the rest of the sites hosted there) @ psygarden.be) and i'm not going to invest a cent more if i don't get anything back from it. hence i'm commercially handycapped this is unlikely to ever happen.
