So...after a frigging long trip true every single transport we manage to get there,it was worth to do it...Son Kite live was rude but undanceable due to the terrible heat over there;same same with Oxyd and stuff,my set was quite surprising for the brazilian crew much more used to uptempo-happy chillout...so my serious&fat basslines with dark atmospheres was kind of unexpected but highly apreciated,I donŽt remember having such a lovely&big feedback in my whole carreer,thanks.
all in all,cool festival with a lot of people in it at least 6.000 so far.
I was treated very well,thanks again to the whole UP crew,it was nice...
PS:Sorry about the failure of the PSYBALL championship but...it was tooooooo fucking hot to even think about moving muscles,may be in my next life If I bor as a lizard or something.
My fake plants died, because I did not pretend to water them. |

First of all, it was a great festival, somewhere between 5.000 and 6.000 people, about 2km of camping area. Great atmosphere during the 7 days of party, hot wheater and very little rain. I had fun the whole time, but some stuff can be improved for next year. The chill out was very small for the size of the party, it couldnŽt fit 10% of the people there and only beach sand to sit on and lay on. The bathroons and showers were not so greate, but it was ok (roots as usual). And finally, about the line up on the dance floor. There where some great moments on the dance floors, like minilogue and son kite live acts (the best for me) and some others, but it could be a lot better. The music was good for 3 or 4 hours and then bad music for another 3 or 4 hours, it was like at tranceformation in perinopolis. I think they need a stronger line up and a better chill out for next year. They should do the line up like the solaris crew...keep it strong all the time and no bullshit music......thats what i have to say........ |

this was my first big festival of my life, it was very nice, for me the place was very beatifiul and the people too.. it was very hot sometimes to dance and some more shadow would be nice for the next time i think for me the best music was from son kite, tristan live, wrecked machines, ecilptic, i liked the dj sets of mack, eduardo, vazik, rica. for sure i will be there again next year! |

Well on january 3rd i was hoping to see the best live act ive seen on the last UP "Protoculture"
The Hours passed, wrecked, altom, and when i tought i was going to hear proto was Silver Surfer without Nate ! And after the Silver Surfers Live i think it entered a DJSET! that was about 7:00pm when the set started! by that time i had given up on protoculture and went "home" so Now you guys are telling me he played and that i Lost the LIVE that made me go do Universo ????

I think I should give a review for this festival, even though it is a late one, I've only got back home from bahia yesterday evening.
The temperature was indeed very high it took me a couple of days to get used to it, and of course the beer and all other cold drinks helped a lot.
On the 1st of Jan moring I had the sickest trip of my whole life, and I was all thanks to the location, people and the music. Talking about the place, it is beautiful, it beats any other place I've been for a festival, and for crying out loud its a beach, with beautiful palm trees.
As for lives and dj sets, I don't know the name of the person who played on the 1st of jan a song which had a bit from raul seixas, that guy gave IMHO one of the best dj sets I've heard, also paulo lopes was a joy to hear and dance to. as for lives I gotta pay my respect to burn in noise, I really dont know why he hasn't got as much respect and attention from others, people need to book him for parties and festivals outside brasil more often. penta was another who truely surprised me, in transit festival i was disappointed but I have changed my mind some of his new stuff is top notch.
Ah the food, the foooooood, hahaha loads of options, and very good, a bit high the prices but I could understand it must be a hassle to get that stuff their.
I could say that their could be improvements but then I would just be too fussy I personally think that this was a great festival.
