gee Id sure like to kno that too since the promoter is actually posting in this thread but ignoring your questions I guess hes not such a great promoter after all. Perhaps ask someone who actually cares about answering questions

hopefully you find out.. last year i dont think they gave out any information until you got in the gates, which was stupid (maybe it was posted online and i didnt see?).. had i known when the hell the psychedelic sunset started maybe i wouldnt have missed everything worthwhile..
that's my rant for today  enjoy the show, and the massive, maaaassive crowd of drunken idiots.
oh, and the giant miami pd post towers with night vision...

thanks for the info, so when did the psychedelic sunset start last year?
post towers? similiar to the kind in airports? also how crowded is it usually infront of the psy stage compared to the other genres. |

i think it was around 6 (which wasnt even near sunset) if i remember right? about the towers.. they were mobile and like 15-20 ft tall, saying "miami police department" on them. a friend i was with joked saying they use them with nightvision to spot "baddies".. last time my cousin went her friend got busted by an undercover
not a good vibe imo.. the psy part wasnt too crowded, it just took a hour to find it, bad maps..
sorry if i sound very negative here, i dont want to scare anyone away.. but it was just my experience (first party, bad way to start.. thankfully gaian mind rocked!:)) |

thats cool i plan on getting there anywhere from 4-5:30 pm hopefull ill be in time for what i came for. the sets arent that long right only 45 minutes each?
how did your friend get arrested by an undercover? |

Whats up everybody!
I hope everyone is haveing a fuckin awesome week so far!
The crew here at Owlradio are throwing a psytrance picnic @ the BBQ pits in FAU Boca Raton wendsday 3-21-07 From 3pm to 10pm. This is a chill location with plenty of dance space in the beautiful outdoors...perfect for sunshine , bbq, and goodtimes.
As always respect for our campus is top priority and a "leave no trace," rule for everyone...
So we'll look foward to meeting with everyone who love's trance, dance, and good vibes

that rocked !!! even with the rain. the 20 minutes of tracks i played were all over the place no fluffy needed. full power rain dance madness . for the 2 hours that there was psy durring ultra i saw the biggest smiles and the funnest dancefloor of the whole festival, maybe cause it had the most space, and was right on the water!! the psy brought the cool freaks over. the dj's down there were blasting it proper, nice to chat for the short time as we took over that killer sound system. third ear syndrome gets huge props for doing their full live rig set, with the visuals as the sun went away . wow what a rockin time in Miami, like no other place. i tried to catch as many of the big name acts as we could get to, while not loosing my group of friends in the 40000 + croud. funny how simple house and techno sounds after hearing fully powerd psy most of my weekends. still every system rocked and the lineup was insane! i want to go back next year if possible!

ultra location rockerd this year,
the sound system was killer.
great meeting the guys from sunfransisco,
keyframe & random.
also old friends deleim and arjuna.
during the psychedelic session,
the stage was packed more then other artists.
hopfully psytrance will take control on tent.. haha
Rain or shine, the fest is all about music.
