From living in Cape Town I can tell you it's definitely an uber sick place to visit if you want to do a Summer psy tour.
Venues are beautiful (but you'll need to rent a car to get to them reliably) and out of the way, police problems are 95% non-existent and outdoor parties run every weekend during the Summer and almost daily in Winter. (Venue directions and party info are very obvious and overt, much to some peoples' disapproval)
People are friendly, organization and production is top-notch and the exchange rate will definitely work in your favour.
There's also a darkpsy scene developing if you're into that kind of stuff. |

Yes, Asheville.
Despite being a town of under 80,000 (and being the largest town within 2 hrs drive), our trance parties are known around the world and even mentioned in wikipedia.

Yeah, it kinda confused me first, since he's from Asheville too. Turns out he is a Northern expat. 
Probably a Cubs fan too. 
But seriously, it does sound like a very interesting place. Seems like every other person in town is a psy producer or a DJ.  |

it need many outdoor parties,offcourse free ones with less than 500 ppl i would say ,just for the love of the music, good weather every days, beatufile beaches and nature... if the local artist are big names would be even better but not a must, where is that place???? sound like ibiza years ago |

Sounds more like San Francisco, actually.
I think we should just set it in Detroit. It's about time something good happens to that place. And it would be fitting too, being the birth place of techno. Yes, I know, I know, there were those other guys in Germany even earlier...
Come think of it, darkpsy will truly flourish there, like Goth did in the '80s. |
