Ulirch schnauss, micropeople dinamo dvash 6.2.2002!

hi
after the great time we had with Lousoul its time 2 chill down with something more mellow.
this firday(6.12.2002) dinamo dvash and micropeople present a special party with Ulrich Schnauss from the germanenglish label City centre offices.
*students have 20% - of entrance fee + first drink free*
Berliner Ulirch schnauss did release some music in LTJ bukem label "good looking" but was quite unknown. but in 2001 he released the cd "far away trains passing by" (which in my opinion was the best cd for 2001). on highly acclaimed label city centre offices.
his music is slow,mellow and deep. using straight forward sounds and not glitches like most IDM artists. he is using massive bass lines and touching melodies to make music which is full of emotion.
if u liked boards of canada than you would be amazed by ulirch schnuass.

Airy (hydrogen dukebox\micropeople) - special dj set of slow idm beats.
Ulrich Schnauss (City Centre offices)- Live
Dj slow_me (micropeople) - minimal and glitch house.

for a party itself - its a long time now that dinamo somehow lost the spirit of leading of underground and non commerzial music club, so last night full of nice ppl and fill with high class IDM (Urlich was very impressive and our guys always know play different and keep it interesting). its realy looked rose dream to see all this ppl dance and have fun with 100 bpm music (bpm is nothing after all, when your mind dance body follow it..).
so offical now - IDM alive and Dinamo too (thanx to micro people again in both cases).

how was the music ??
dj airy/kebab - open airy tunes melow and smart blend of electronica (from downbeat to minimal tech(house)no and beark beats and so dnb.
urlich - live act with evry impressive music. full of emotions and very non reguelar concepts music. very "live" feeling, very positve vibes.
slow_me - chicago crasher from ramat gan played last and maked ppl move to the hard tunes. from break beats to hard house and electro.

this has been a great event for me, just great vibes going around, and people dancing.
ulirchs music is so good and positive u just don`t have a choice but 2 start dancing and smiling. dj slow_me gave an exellent set of very good techno music. people were shouting and even some people got their shirts off.
we had our VJ which was very good.
as for my set i just played some of my most beloved music ever, and seeing people dancing with tunes from hermann and klein ,boc,lackluster old MAS and boca_raton (ha ha) showed that there can be alternative 2 regular club culture.
like zombie said , this is one of those days when u understand why ur doing this kind of events. |

it was like the good old days of the dinamo were back.
thanks kebab for bringing ulrich, his live set was really something special.
