I think there's a real buzz around the british psy-trance scene at the moment. There are a number of rocking comps coming out between now and Christmas which feature british acts. It's true for the last couple of years the Irallies have developed a killer sound and thank you for bringing it to our shores. Still it seems a shame that many U.K. acts have had to look to sunnier climes for their big gigs and this maybe be part of why they are not so appreciated at home. Those that have been into psy-trance for a long time will realise that it swings in style and geographical location as the most popular rise to the top. It is good to remember the british have a long tradition and their own style to draw on which has a great influence on the modern global psy-trance sound today. British trance is in for a renaissance. There's plenty of talent out there; you just have to check the underground to experience it. There is countless young musicians on their pc's banging out tunes developing their style just becoming ripe for the picking. So there's no need to feel despondent Mike the act you're looking for is probably in a studio bedsit just round the corner from you. If you keep you ear to the ground you just might be lucky enough to give them their first show case. Anyone in the UK writing trance rocks as does anyone else willing to give it their time. Its great that there is so much amazing inspiring music being produced all round the world. Its important to be reminded music is not a competition its a celebration.
