UFO Theme in Trance?

ok so this is it, i was watching this documentary on UFO's the other day, interesting stuff... in between they showed clips of alien movies from the 50's and these movies used a lot of that characteristic alien music.. you know the one that goes like woooooo ooooo oooooo... kind of twisting and sounds funny and eerie at the same time with a strange frequency... so it got me thinking... has this sound been used in trance tracks? which ones? moreover, to what extent has the whole UFO/Alien theme been used in Trance? you know, vocals describing encounters and the like...

@ mk47 thanks for the link... very informative... liked the samples i heard.. they certainly have that cool funky alien thing going... though i'd love to hear something faster and more layered along the same lines... any suggestions???

Track 2 Cosmosis latest album (Psychedelica Melodica).
"creatures from outer space"
Has theramin effects.
Track notes
"2. Creature From Outer Space
Creature From Outer Space actually started life on my laptop as a throwaway demo project that I created to help some of my Brazilian friends figure out how to use their new music software. By the time I had finished demonstrating how to create a groovy bassline, programme hats and percussion, timestretch a percussion loop, create some synth parts, arrange and generally put a track together, I realized that I had the bones of a new Cosmosis track. When I returned from my tour of Brazil to my studio in Europe, I transferred the track to my main studio and further developed the ideas into a coherent piece. The "outer space" theme was inspired by the wonderfully cheesey 50's vocal sample, which in turn gave rise to the theramin-esque synth line and some spacey guitar parts. The underlying theme is something like: " If human beings were visted at several points in human history by benign aliens for the purpose of genetically modifying our DNA for evolutionary purposes then surely we are the creatures from outer space." (And if you could get all that just by listening to the track then clearly you deserve a life membership to MENSA ) Hopefully this track shouldn´t sound too out of place at a disco at the edge of an Andromedian star system."

@vector_0... ah yes... very interesting post that... seems interstellar itself... speaking of gifts from aliens.. i saw this happy backdrop at a party recently... it shows flying saucers hovering over large fields, large beams are emerging from the saucers on to the fields and every place that the beams touch sprouts magic mushrooms... and in the distance you can see aliens from atop their ships gesturing peace signs and encouraging humanity to partake of their bounteous gifts... " i want to believe".....
