well, i see no one woke up yet, so i get to be first
we got there at about 3:20 after driving through hard fog which you could just barely see through, getting to the place was fairly easy, and at the time we arrived there weren't many people so we parked pretty close to the party which is something that hasn't happened in a long time
on arrival you could already see that this time at last the organisers did some deco, and it looked great. fluro wallhangings, fluro balls and constructions, and fluro pointy mushrooms
the music at that time was pretty much full-on, something which i personally like (don't know who the dj was), except that it appears this party was going backwards, from full-on, to slow kinda progressive thing and that was what double dragon was about (was that him in the orange shirt?)
the music was not very slow, but very undanceable at many times, i used to go dance for a few minutes, just to understand that well, i can't take no more, and i LOVE his album, but he didn't put anything from it, so that's why i'm not sure it was him.
after that came pixel and domestic, which after the last few very nice performances, this time, didn't do it to me, started of with a bang, and then just went on like double dragon.
then the alchemist came, and finally things were moving (especially at "out here we is stoned"), so i dug for how long i could before we left at about 11:00
as usual, udi&ronen's parties, are somewhat strange, full of scary faces at night, and in the morning, woosh, suddenly everything changes, and you see so many of the regular party people, that always makes me smile, that and seeing people jumping with joy, or just travelling up the mountains, those people are nuts!!!
so many people with "sratim" with smiling faces, never mind the music, it was worth seeing that           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

as usuall, havent got my sleep yet...
well, the deco was simple and great, the ground was good and the place was pretty good organized for a party. great sound as well...
nice peole were defenetly there, not a lot of them, its seems a bit empty in the dancefloor there...
even the dust was acceptable, well, after the 2 last mokshas and udi&ronen latest gigs... but...
the music had let me down big time...
double dragon is a great artist, i like his stuff but the music he selected for his set was so so and couldnt rise my feet to the air... cant dig on that...
the one before him was pretty good, he was putting full on stuff in the night which i liked very much, i wish he was in the morning as well...
pixel&domestic were unbalanced, i dunno... is it me or the tempo was up and down too many times in this party ? didnt like this thing at all...
nikita was solid, and gets my thumbs up for putting e-raction "out here we're stoned" in some rmx i think... help me out here but in the whole, there was a bad choice of tracks here, but hey, thats my opinion...
anyway, thumbs up for udi&ronen for a very good production and i hope the music will be better for me next time, and no drummer there!!!
well, me need my sleep now !!!!!!!
were starting school tommorow...
hehe
I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

What can I say ? HUGE musical disappointment.
"except that" , it was PERFECT.
Great great decoration, great location, great 800 smiling beautiful people, but whats the worth of it when the music sucked?
it never happened to me before , to sit the entire party. and man, in the morning it was SO hot...
poor d.j's , didnt have a shade on their heads .
exept that... the food was good, and the party in general was nice , if I didnt come in for free I would be crying harder j\k
not crying, just a lil disappointed, after all , its udi and ronen , and I always used to enjoy their parties the most...ciao's .

something strange is happening with Udi & Ronen parties. They used to make smaller parties, with less people & less deco, but great music. But lately they are making bigger parties, with better organization, but the music isn't as good, and more importantly, the vibe isn't as good.

For example, a few months ago, udi & ronen had a party in Megido (the one near moshav Hayogev), and even though the production wasn't brilliant, it was a rockin' party. good people, good music, good location. But the last 2 parties, something has changed. It started off with the party in kirtyat ata forest. Bigger party, lot's of people (and quite a few "faces"), and boring music (except for oliver's set). And now, this party. Again, a bigger party, but no great music & vibes.
What's happening? why?

Anyway, despite the average music, i enjoyed myself pretty much, and i will probably be at udi & ronen's next event as well. Let's just hope that the next one will be more unique and full of surprises.           MiniMAL cabron...

Nitzan> that's exactly how i felt! there may have been many people there, but when it's all farmiliar and smilling faces, then it doesn't feel like a huge party, it feels like a freinds party...           MiniMAL cabron...

and i think Double Dragon gave an OUTSTANDING set...

not a boring tracks or moments, no overplayed tracks, finnaly a dj who know to give his truth on one hand, and not taking it too serious on the other...

also finish with a kind of wink (the cosma track) to show some loyalty with the israeli artists, very nice.

the sound was the best (3urbosound sets) too bad not all the dj's knew how to bring the best out of it...

mono?!? that's really fucked up.
i have to agree with dr. gonzo, too many ups and downs, no stable up set
there would be a floor pounder, followed by a slow boring tune every ten minutes, so music wise, it really was a disappointment, but i don't know, i guess between people and music at a party i like people better, well, people and organising. if the music sucked big time i wouldn't be happy too, but it didn't suck, it just wasn't very good.
oh, and 80 nis? i see the economy state affects parties as well huh? that and the fuel costs reach up to the cost of a festival
well, let's hope next time will be better (if there'll be a next time before winter screws our party conditions )           Super-teen extraordinaire Freakazoid! Freakazoid!

freakazoid, if i had 2 choose between people and music i'd choose music. u can ask arie and jason what happend last winter when Molecular played in a party, i dont remember the name (where the Avi&Zohar party with Native Radio was) and the crowd was 150 "shimonim" but they were so mad about the music that they made probably 1 of the most amazing "vibes" i've ever seen in a party!
Music must come 1st, them all the other stuff!!!!!
