i think you may be right...
maybe you (not specifically halusignor) can organise some much smaller parties of your dark twisted stuff so you dont loose too much money?
if I took psychedelics and went to one of these dark twisted nights i would have to be carried out in tears and put in a mental home!
how do you guys cope! or is this music not for psychedelics?
Organisers surely have a responsibilty to provide a safe environment for people to take hallucinogenics in (by which i mean chillout etc) because this kind of music inside is very serious
i'm sure there was a dark and twisted night last year at the rocket without a chill out.... |

Maybe there's not that much demand for the dark twisted psy stuff because there is so much very heavy dark music about in other genres of dance music in the UK... hard and doomcore techno being the obvious ones along with the moodier end of D&B...
Who ever thought that the English arent very hardcore might want to check out a Crossbones party or something similar...

Canyouhearthegoblins, the music is very psychedelic, the only thing is, that one person's definition of what constitutes psychedelic can vary quite alot from person to person. I don't even like the term 'dark' as for some people this equates to 'evil' which definitely is not the case for me regards this music. I still like to call it twisted night music, but that's me. I like to hear it at night when it's 'dark' because the sounds therein do work very well, if you're open to those sounds. Likewise, when the sun is coming up, I want to hear something a little less hectic with some good melodies and a solid groove. You could say, well it shouldn't matter what's played at what time, and may be that should be the case, but that's down to personal taste, just like everything else
So in short, lose it at night and pick up the pieces in the morning. None of it is really evil, unless you're throwing in some satanic backward bible passages into the mix and advocating other unpleasantries, but then again some people find GMS, Astrix etc evil, it's all a matter of perspective

not questioning if it's psychedelic at all arv - rather if it's possible for me and the average punter to cope with it when on psychedelics |

Well, I've seen the average punter cope fine, but again it depends on what's being played and what they're expecting. A whole night of this music, while great for the fans of this style, may be awful for others, and I would sympathise loads with them. There is a place for this type of music, and it did used to get played in clubs, but that was a few years ago. I'm with Glen on the whole have different types of psy in a night, as this used to be the case but seems quite lacking in alot of parties these days.

no cash! went to one of theirs in feb - such a fun vibe
was trying to use their line up as an eg of people doing a real mix up - i've never seen the likes of graphs of wrath/digital talk with iboga and jaia before, other acts falling inbetween
good for them
