Does anybody know if it is possible to use two virus TI's at the same time? Or a TI and a snow?
I really use the TI alot and often through lots of effects on the insert channels. So I only really get 3 channels out of one TI. So I'd like another one Or something similar. But before i spend alot of money i would like to know if it works at all or not.

I used 2 TIs and it worked fine!

About getting only 3 channels out of the Virus, U can get 6 3audio chanels out of the usb and 3 audio chanels outs from the synth's physical outs right in your soundcard if it has 6 to 8 audio inputs.

Take care

One piece of kit that transforms the Virus into a completely different sounding synth.
The AMS Neve 1073

Up the input gain a bit and say good bye to the Virus toy like plasticness and say hello to the ballsy thick harmonic overdrive

Peace out.

yeah mate i love the neve sound damn i m jealous! i want a eq or a pre/eq for that big low and creamy sound, i like the highs too..,it s a bit slow though but great for mojo, for me it s a classic sound.. bro if you didnt tried it, pad the signal around -30/ 40 db and use the mic input ,crank up the pre for more color variation depending the sources

This is exactly what I have done to the Virus lead that comes in at 2:40

The bassline in this track is the Roland SH-101 through the Neve and GML EQ as well.

Peace out.

Not more, just happy I have that kind of bassline available as well, as Albino 3 and ES1 sound very different.
I generally use many synths for basslines, depending on the mood and feel of the track. Although I favor the Roland SH-101 sound, I will use either the SH-101, the EXS 24 sampler instruments, Trillian, ES1, ES2, Albino 3.
I have yet to use the Virus TI for bassline duty and I have yet to use the Nord Lead 2X as Sylenth. But I am thinking of doing so as all these synths are perfectly capable of a good bassline patch.
Basically is you know your way around programming and EQing, you can get a good bassline out of pretty much any synth these days. They're all great.

Peace out.

idk, 2 virus's could be pretty kickass in a live situation. as DH said though for production, might be overkill....           Gamma Riders EP out now on iTunes and Amazon.com!
