Hello
After i get this comp and mix it i must say that i didn´t liked the masterization that much... i´m saying this cause when i mix the universo paralelo and the elec3 track i see the diference of volume with the other tracks.
But nice compilation anyway

i must say that Triptych with hist track named "Access All Areas" suprised me, really good production and idea, i'm a big fun of funky elements! keep the good work man, and good luck to all on this compilation.

Hello,
the elec3 track is exactly to the same level than the others tracks in the compilation for a VU-meter level,
for the Universo paralelo track you're right, the level is a little bit different (a little bit lower) cause we received the track at a very low level but with a very high eletronic modulation in the low frequency,
so we had to make a good balance between the bass and the other part of the band, and at the same time to increase the global level which was very low, so to avoid some "pumping" compressor problems we prefered to have the track a little bit lower.
so indeed when you're mixing this track with another one you have a difference of volume...like when you're mixing two differents cd's you often have also a difference of level between the differents master...but you still have the "gain" pot. in a mixing table to adjust that...
that's why sometimes a cd doesn't have the same level on all the tracks,
because a lot of "mastering" prefer to give greater importance to the musicality of a track than to give always the full power level.

But i think that the elec3 track is the one who needed a lite bit more compressor, not volume has u understanded (peace)
About proto i share the same opinion has u. About the gain i know what does it do, but it´s not the same, it´s a very big diference and that always dificults the mix.
But if u make another comp i will buy it again!! This is not the kind of a problem that can make me not buying your music in the future just some aspect u can improve in other releses.

Hello,
As you talked first about the volume, i thought it was your problem with the Elec 3 track...
About the compressor, elec3 tune is exactly compressed like the others tracks (i still have the exact compressor settings and data of all the tracks, so i could check), even a little bit more compressed than the Talamasca track, the Tikal vs Ninja track, the Vibe tribe track and my tracks, so...
why to put again more compressor to a track more compressed than some others to reduce again the dynamic range...so i'm not sure your problem is about compressor or volume...
But thanx for your comments and your review.

Nice review Detox thats a very good compilation by Triptych.all the cd is good but the best track in here(for me) is protocolture-universal paralelo
also i realy like elec3 and vibe tribe very melodic stuff here good luck to turbo trance production
