Well well well what can i say? Party was good, i would say excellent, vibe was good, many smilie faces, club was packed and everybody was dancing like crazy. First dj I think Brandon was very nice, groovy music, good energy. Played longer then expected but it was only a good thing as we found out later. Thank you Brandon. Then Infected mushroom came to action. Oh God!!!! I wish I never heard or saw this embarrassment of Duvdev singing from time to time as a untalented rock singer or an eastern folk female singer. I'm sorry but it was beyond horrible experience. Real shameful moment of trance or maybe better to use word pity?
Last and the best dj was Luis. He played some real gret hard stuff and saved the party. I couldn't stop dancing, I wish your set was longer. It was great. Thank you very much. |

can you name a place with better sound in NYC (if you say cielo, i will agree)??? you are right, the sound IS warm, but not TOO warm for psytrance. the warmth gives the basslines in particular a special quality which catalyzes movement and feeling on the dancefloor ..all you need is to let your ears adjust from what you are used to, instead of just being a stubborn audiophile...believe me, i felt the same way as you at first...and what system DOESN'T sound crappy near the corners as opposed to the center???

oh yes, i am an audiophile stubborn, believe me. For that i made my best to have my genelec monitors pleasing my ears at least three hours everyday. and tubes amps and custom speakers in my living room. As a fact, you don't need the backside speakers (as you see in most of the "C.L.U.B.S") to create 3d sounds. They oftenly attemp to give a bad feedback and fight the other incoming waves especially in a high ceiling. Many sound designer in this planet are just "Big Name", what they actualy did is to grab the money from the big club owner (big cheese) by spending this and that. Same as "Big Name" performers. Commercials what some people call it.
I remember the New Year Eve party in sklad brooklyn while ago where Nexus, Vibra and Suria played was the best sound system. Turned out I saw the same system displayed in their last festival. Powerfull, killer, crystal clear 3d sound and it takes any space. This sound guy must know what he is doing.I attemped to put my ear about a quater inch from the speakers. It does not hurt my ear and my heart. kapuzz? I climp the hill at that festival, I still hear that killer powerfull sound from distance and still in crystal clear detail. Exit had a great sound before they renovate, after they renovate become a little to much hars from Mid and Hi and bass is not clear, but not as bad as hars from Mackie Fusion tweeters.
Anyway thats all I could say
