Heh, I never was a huge fan of their guitars in the first place, and I'm very out of tune with their current sound. Heard them live 3-4 years ago and as I remember it, it was quite progressive, also their sideproject back then Ouija were somewhat on the progressive side.

If their current sound isn't progressive, then I stand corrected Yonski           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

well perhaps you remember wrong
maybe they have some hamburg basses in their repertoire, but i don't recall them ever really goin into prog.having said that they always sounded different than major fullon so maybe your'e not so wrong after all

NEVERTHELESS its not important, they're a good live act at least appearence wise, plus they have a cool drummer with a nice set

oh back to topic,Hooray for Tshitraka! see u there pr0fsk ?

What's the deal with the sound system?
As sherlockalien is saying that it sucked last year.
This festival really seems very cool, but yeah, if the soundsystem is not ok, wouldn't that be a pitty?

And btw, isn't there any Full-on or Dark Psy to be played?
A little mix of other styles wouldn't hurt

Hey man...Sherlockalien...you was really in the same festival like us ;-)

ai ai ai....nobody´s is perfect but the Tshitraka Festival 2006 was more as perfect for me and all my friends...

the Sound System´s was nice in both area´s but more get everytime...but what for other is little is for some one to much or enough ;-)

sooo...I smoke also cigarrete´s and beer I drink too (most time wodka red bull..he he)and why it´s not ok when people make it in festival ??? About drug´s I can´t say anything...who like it can take it...it´s free world where we life or not ?

The organizers were quite unfriendly ???

brother, what for festival you was in this weekend...that you can camp in every place it´s not possible because it´s sometimes to hot and this is why you can´t go in every region of the festival place...you listen one time about FOREST FIRE...or only you listen NO´s in your life ??? This is a great problem here in germany in the summer time when Festival´s goes in green nature fields...they organisation´s can´t let you go where ever you want in the festival place...where is the problem to accept this ?

ok, when you celebrate in place like Boom where you don´t find some green fields only powder fields...in this place´s can´t comes forest fire´s....but in Germany yes...

For me and my friends was it the best festival time and we was in some other festivals too....

This year the line up is fucking killer and I´m happy to stay 5 days with some friends from all over the world again ;-)

Enjoy it...and you will see, it´s one of the best trance festivals.

it was not all ´roses roses´...

the music that the progress djs played was great (steve ative, andre absolut, rpo, zombi etc etc)

BUT...

the crowd was quite weird most of the time.. young german kiddos on speed, smoking cigarrete and drinking beer... I had never seen anything like that.. even in the most commercial parties in brazil, its still not like that

It only got really better the next day, when those ´terminators´ left and the cool crowd, that seemed to be hiding before, stayed

the organizers were quite unfriendly.. I never heard os many ´NO´s in my life.. ´you cant camp there, you cant walk there, you cant come in this area with your backpacks´ etc...

the soundsystem sucked! specially the alternative floor..I was wondering if the mini system in my room was more powerful, haha.. and it was too close to the mainfloor..

but appart from those things, of course I had my fun.. was with some nice friends, met some few nice people from greece and from israel... too bad most of the people were´terminators´ (or in other words, it seemed something like the german equivalent to the british chavs), so it wasnt so easy meeting cool people (as it was in boom, voov or sonica)

but yeah.. hope you guys bring a better soundsystem next time, and hope the crowd gets a bit better..

Heya!

I´d really like to see some more diversity in the lineup.

On the one hand, Acts like Bufo, Sensient, Cuojorious One, Igneous...etc. would be perfect Night Time Progressive Highlights.

And on the other Hand, why not play some Tech-Trance on the Second floor?

Not that that could keep me from coming, but that are my wishes for 2008
