yea Zyce & Fox is another psy-prog project & is appealing.
Ectima stuff is a bit more than progressive, i feel but brilliant stuff for sure.

imo the prog was very housy n not psy at all!!
4 acid loops, getars riff n more it become electro, more flow n not only house sounds as prog, u can say electro is not good 4 u
but prog is not good 4 me,
try some old psy (NOT PROG!) as, mos , wizzy noize, cosma, triac, psyko disco...

Well... im not too well versed with this style these days. Its been ages ive heard good prog on the lines of shiva chandra, hux flux, logic bomb, etc. to name a few whose music i have dug in the past. These days its just again some formula thingy.... the typical bass and kick.... and then some house/electro elements.... and pass it off as prog psy. Even acts like Tegma and Ticon have a similar approach.... well just experimenting i guess.... bcoz they are quality acts for sure.
But i must say i did like Zenon's Bush food... Some of it have a more minimal feel rather than a prog feel i shld say..... but nevertheless it is quite high quality and psychedelic at the same time. I guess the Australians have the better progpsy coming out these days. Umm.. Ace venturas album was also pretty nice. Also, i did also enjoy the sounds of this act Kalumet.... quite reminiscent of the older prog tunes...
