"Charles Michaud is known for his unique and original style and this Triptych album demonstrates his brilliant skills in terms of production quality.

His sound is both wide and dynamic simultaneously and is always clear and powerful."

Now my review track by track:

1.Acess(2:04)120...it´s the intro of the cd. 2 min of tricks and sounds. This is the Acess for All Areas...

2.Question and Answer(8:53)143...long intro on this one. And the track starts very pumping and groove. Then a part that imho is one of the best parts of whole album... From 3.50 to 4.50 this track goes extremelly groove, but in a very high tech way! After the break there´s a nice melodie, very scandinavian style!

3.Stop the Press(8:14)140...here one of my favourite track of the album. This is pure massive music! With samples from "Prince-Batman", this track is funny and strong at same time. Here u can realise the electro influences with a lot of acid synths! Not fast music, but great piece of music to dance with a big smile on the face!

4.Bokoboko(8:13)144...Here probably my favourite track from the album: Pumping High Tech music as it best! Killer vocal work! This time Charles went more to funky/groove side, with funky guitars and synths! Virus Powercore Power on this one!

5.Fifty(7:38)144..now the very known track released @ Alchemy Records. But this track fits perfect on the album. Pure groove with superb production.

6.Electrology(8:54)144...Now the track with the album name! Imo the most original track of the album. Unusual bassline, sounds and tricks!

7.State of Confusion feat DJ Beka(8:18)142...The progressive track of the album. Pumping and melodic! I love this kind of music, very happy and uplifting! After the break a good change on the music, goes more to hard groove bassline with great "Space Catish" melody!

8.Own Desire feat Senix(7:19)144...now a real musical journey! This track has perfect harmony during all the track, great "flow"! Reminds me little bit of Logic Bomb old tracks. Very melodic, without the so overused full on bassline!

9.Wicked Jimmy(8:18)144...now a little bit of cheesy! I really liked this track!!! The happiest track on the album, perfect for a sunny afternoon, with great groove bassline!

_____________________________________________

Conclusion: All tracks has killer production and sense of harmony. For those who looks for unique and original music, this album is a must! No regular formula here!!!

Favourites tracks: Stop the Press, Bokoboko and Wicked Jimmy.

funky full on at its finest - charles is doing it different to everyone else - brining back the quirky, filthy bass lines we used to hear from all the scando artists in the late 90's.
quality release - wish there was more like this, to play with it in a set.
charles live set keeps you constantly bouncing and constantly smiling - I'm a big big fan mate!!!
hopefully i'll get you hear soon!!!

i didnt got my copy yet but a friend of mine hv it already and i must say tht im realy realy looking forward to hv it. my first impression was tht this album was samething diferent tht we are used to charles hv a unique knoweldge in music produciton he use so many effects in his tracks and i couldnt find cheesy melodies all of the tracks tht i heard were very well built with inteligent constructions.

i heard tracks like stop the press with the batman samplers who by the way hv a unique break this one stood in my mind untill now.

i will give a better review when i purchase my copy and listen more carefully.

congratulation turbo trance for this fine rlsd

This album is something totally different of what is out these days. I didnt know what to expect on this one, and it really blow me away, its so funky, groovy, techy, original and well produced. It has very strench tracks with a lot of emotion on them. Its one of the best albums of 2005 so far that id heard, if not the best. If u want dance like crazy with a big smile, this is a MUST. 4 sure!!!!

Damn right. Looking for some original and funky tunes with melody to boot?? Check this out. I did, and it didn't disappoint.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Triptych is one of the most underrated full on acts on the scene today, although the massive "Celtych" released on Nano gave him some well-deserved recognition by DJ’s across the globe.

I won’t give a detailed review of "Electrology", just state that it’s full on with a very unique twist. It’s oozing with creativity, using lots of weird effects and funny samples, always with a very nice groove and generally with a positive vibe throughout the album. And of course the production is very professional compared to much other full on.

That being said, I unfortunately doubt it has enough "killah dancefloor" appeal to make it a huge hit – but if you’re tired of the majority of the full on released nowadays and is looking for something more interesting, but still dance floor friendly I highly recommend it.          DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

after some listenings to this album i'm ready to give my opinion of it...

like said befor...triptych has his own style...he doesnt follow the today "usual dancefloor killah" rules. and thats good...

i dont review each track...but my fav. are:
6!!, 2,7,8,9

i specialy like the last few tracks...they< have all this mellow deep morning groove in it...

all in all it's a great album...very creativ stuff...alot of different influences...
production is top notch..nothing to say...

i would give a 8.5!!

go on this way charles!¨

cheers
