What if you use automation say in ableton- you get the two points, one on 1/16 and the other on 1/8T, then put the arp on free mode and it gradually fades to the other.
O but I get what you mean with shuffle/swing.. going to also give it a go tomorrow.

Glad you find it interesting, I do too!
As far as I can tell though, it IS triplets. Or it should be. I'm using a triplets specific groove pattern. Basically it's just using the swing function to offset the MIDI to triplets. It sounds the same as using the triplets grid anyway, or close enough at the very least. (I haven't checked side by side yet honestly) I specifically used the 8T Ableton stock groove. |
