I dont think the orgs have had the balls or thought about taking some of the fin's down to brazil, Exogenic Records crew would be very welcomed their by the crowd.           "Great things are only possible with outrageous requests." Thea Alexander

rao!

mr. pelinpala, say to us exactly what kind of music you call "psychedelic". if you come to bahia (to be more exact, in salvador), youll find a community of people very interested in alien frequency, transcendental sounds, hypnotic and plastic pulses floating on binary batucada. bahia is the place where the south american trance scene began. trancoso. since 90's. our scene in salvador is directly influenced by what happened in trancoso (south of bahia) since 90's. we grew a collective called soononmoon and love to bring some dope sounds to the people. here we dont have progressive too strong. fullon rules but with some good portions of organic sounds, very experimental. here we love to bring silicon and drums together, bringing the black sound (salvador is the blackest city on the world apart africa and we are known as a 24hour party people) to the psychoactive drive of trance. we also like suomi trance and other forms of funky trance. the result is a sound a bit different from what you hear in another cities like são paulo, rio de janeiro and brasília and huge festivals. come to salvador and know the power of the orange side. you're welcome!

I suggested to some orgs to put you to play in parties cause I knew you were in Brazil.

I'd love to see your live act in here. And I am very disappointed cause I haven't seen it yet.

Your last album is truly amazing. Very different psychedelic sound.

I think the most psychedelic sounds will happen in Universo Paralello in the end of the year. I'll try my best to be there and recommend it to anyone who likes psychedelic music.

Unfortunately, here in Brazil orgs are too restrictive about calling different artists to play in here.

My first post here. "Nice to meet you"!!!

Ow... and Bahia (Trancoso) has really good parties.

Nazca is right. I went to bahia, and the most full power psy was definatley in salvador. Soonomon and environment sound. Even I found U.P. to be very progressive, only really kicking off between 4am-7am, when most were asleep (not me). This was the case at many parties, though there were some excellent dj's from around the world there at that time, plenty of cheese as well. I think this problem isn't just in brazil, the scene is becoming huge, but there are only a handful of artists who make LSD or psychedelically orientated music anymore. Alot of very melodic and retro MDMA music to get through. I dont think 'psy' is always meant to mean psychedelic, there is definatley a difference....

for me the psychedelic music is realy psychedelic:) music that brakes the structures of the old format, development in the sound.

i found that most organizers deal with the realy commmercial sound. however there are expetions who realy dig the psychedelic sounds.

can somebody send me a contact of a nice crew in bahia?

i heard many stories about bahia. i was allready 9 months alltogether in brazil but i didnt manage to go to the north-east yet.

i will come back to brazil in a few months so this time i will surely check out bahia.

thanks for the information!!

Peace,
Tommi

wow soo much advertising in it...

what Pelinpala tried to say is that he had looked and dont find anyone who have the guts to book him for a party..and why ?
simple cause here in Brazil we are 100% comercial shit..flufly sounds..all crap

who donwhere like paps ? nystagmus ? talpa ? haltya ? kailum ? K90 ? Bumbling Loons ? or anyother who try to do some music with no comprimisse at all with patterns and styles ? i mean psychedelic music is all about being free to experiment..and not follow some formulas...

but our crowd dont care for that..and actually they simple dont know shit..the majority..imho

wanka tanka!

well it´s not just advertising you know.

i truely like weird and difrent psy parties alot actually.

since i spend alot of time in brazil and know that i am going to do so also in the future, would be nice to meet some people who are like minded.

and you are right, majority of the crowd dont care shit about the development or even variety of psy music.
mostly the music down there is normal shitty trance.
but still the brazilian crowd is amazing.

however i do like the progressive scene thats been on the rise down there for the last years now.

Peace,
Tommi

Tommi, mah nigga!!

Good to hear you'll be comming again this year. For a moment I thought you'd bypass us this time, due to your australian tour.

Jolly good

When will you be here?

Cheerio,

Luje
