yeah I am looking forward to this too... should be an enjoyable excursion from London....
I only just noticed that the flier mentions an unconcious collective _album_... I am really interested what this might sound like - could be a lot of fun I reckon.

A quick update about the party!!
Unconscious Collective will be joined on stage by OOOD!
If you have been to a TRiBE of FRoG before you will know that we like our fruit and love surprising people on the dancefloor with some succulent fruity flesh, but we were wondering what everyones favourite fruit was! Send an email to fruitastic@tribeoffrog.com telling us what your favourite fruit is, you could win a couple of tickets for your trouble Send your email before 24th September. On 25th September the winner will be selected (by a random process of leaping around a room of printed out emails until the music stops!) We will email the winner to get their address, so if you do enter the fruity comp. remember to check your email on that day!

hey morph,
just to let you know that i can't make it, combination of moving house and starting an MSc mean i'm a little preoccupied at the mo, will try and make it to the big schmoke for X-dream and Bamboo Forest and others... oh and TIP world party as well.

well i went and it was certainly worth the train ride!
arrived at about midnight (maybe...), walked through the door into a pretty damn packed depot filled with all manner of creepies and crawlies, these people were obviously already having a really great time to the sounds that Natzan was capably providing... the first thing that struck me was the amazing vibe in the place, a very friendly crowd just out to have a laugh secondly the incredible decor touches, no surprises really from the crew that started off doing ace decor for others but quite smthing none the less.. the octopus crowd surfing later in the night was a personal favourite.. i went downstairs, but only briefly, seemed nice smooth proggy sounds were oozing aroung the variously seated / not seated throng.. but i had to get upstairs...
to see unconcious collective - haven't heard anything from these guys since fluorostani transcendence back in '97 but they had plenty of material to play tonight, which they did with some aplomb, working the dancefloor into a submissive jelly like thing with their extremely driven acid sound, highly enjoyable
natzan returned for a short while, again playing a nice psy selection to prepare the stage for shifts live which started at 3am.. i hadn't heard that much shift stuff in advance, though various sources had informed me that this really was smthing to get excited about.. and they were not wrong.. oh no oh no.. this was full power extremely psychedelic music of a very high caliber indeed.. lets hope some more of the two hours of psy joy that chris unleashed will be available to us all in the near future (i gather there were some remixed monastic squids in there somewhere as well.. nice )
after chris it was left to uvishnu to round off the evening with a set with a lot of pace and a happy ratio of silly noises to sensible ones (btw wtf was the second track you played mate? oh my f**king god!)
so in summary - they know how to do fings right in bristol.. indeed they do
(ps huge amounts of thanks to andy morph for his exceptional hospitality )
