Just now a friend told me this party almost got to be a underwater party!
Really Amazing!
And it seems that now we got a new fashion,of organizers running away with the money!
Let's see how ends this new chapter in the novel "Trance in Portugal".

Sorry to disapoint you Clark Kent, but that maybe isn´t the truth (the part of the fashion organizers running away with the money)! I wasn´t there but i know all the story!! The money wasn´t enough but the rest of the story is very complex to describe here!!!! But if you are interested to know more about it just post again to know some details!!!!
Someone who knows everthing about the party!!!!!

...judging by the numbers of your posts (1 untill now), gives me the reasons to believe that you have registered yourself, just to make this post... so, you were not there!!! ...and you know all the story!!! I see...

Yes... me, that has been used and abused by the org. (maybe your friends).
Me, that with Fluxö, got to the party early, and if we wanted to have our sound tested for the live (Zero Sequence), we had to plug all the stuff at the stage, and I mean everything, because the gear was arriving and there wasn't anyone to plug it. And after that we've noticed that on the left side of the P.A. there wasn't any Hi Frequencies, that took some guys (and time) to substitute the Hi's speakers at the middle of the night, (untill then half of the stage monitors were there making the Hi's work.)
And when finally we're going to play, the organizer tell us that the party is over because of the weather???
You don't know, and you shoudn't (of course), how my last week was. Just to find a way of having some time to reharse, for the live. But, of course, that's none of your busyness. That's my life. But, I cannot agree that people abuse others work!!!
...We went there to do our work, to play, it's not our fault that the organizer haven't put the tent on the 'alternative place' he had in case there was rain! We wired, plugged (whatever) all the gear that everyone would use (oh well, we missed Menog and Space Cat's laptop) and after that, we were not allowed to play, and one of the two organizers told us that his "friend??????" runned away with the money...
I was there... I haven't listened to this... This things happened to me... The organizer spoke with me... Either you or the organizer are lying...
...so, that's why I'm so interested in the details... because I'm professional, I work and live from music, and this weekend some people made a joke out of my work!!! ...out of my brain!!! ...and I only speak about me, but there were a lot of other artists (that actually played), that are in the same situation.
I'm sick and tired of people that think that to organize something, it's only getting the artists and expect the audience to pay for it. And if noone shows up???? What would you say to the artists??? "I'm sorry, but the party went wrong, bla bla bla"????????? Cut the crap!!!!! You can't have kids doing man's jobs!!!!! Wake up, grow up, or something!!!!
...so, The_Truth ...it just don't fits you well to write funny word games about this party!!!...complex or not, if you are "someone who knows everything about the party" just tell us 'your' truth once and for all, or else you shouldn't be posting things just to show to the world you're full of 'enlightenment'!

Again????This is starting to b a rotine,ppl don´t have money,make a party,run with the money...what is this???in what country do we live?
i didn´t went so i don´t have to talk much,but this is starting to be anoing...,this kill all party spirit...
I think all the artists should think about only working with contract,there is no other choice...,i can see in this bizness we can not trust in other ppl words,plz,open your eyes,work with some legal contract to protect yourselfs....
shame on ppl wo make fun on other ppl work

yeah...really bad that the party had 2 end 2 soon...at that time the party was rocking...eksco was really nice hearing that kind of sound at that time...2 change the habitual at night, very good indeed.menog what´s there 2 say?he blow my mind away...really good also!
and space cat...the man sure rocks, i was very pleased 2 hear him again...nice new sounds that he has now...i´m dying 2 catch his new album...very good live act, and as a dj set very strong tracks...
as 4 ending the party at that time, i don´t know detail, but i was a little bit upset, 4 the org. didn´t worry bout the river...if they are the ones who make money, they should thing that thix things happen...but most of all it was a cool party, good vibes!

px:if what psyjar wrote is true, then we have another sad story in our epic adventure 
psyjar i´m on your side...i was dying 2 hear zero, cause i don´t hear u long time and it was really boring...kidding with others people work!

To agree to play somwwhere for someone you don't know, that never shjowed anything, is a big risk, and something artists shoud prevent.
Ask for 50% cachet before, and for references to other artists. Otherwise don't go.
This day's, there are almost no professional production teams on the field, so all th rest have good chances to be shit party's!
Like you said, a bunch of kids playing DJ's!
That's exactly waht happened 5 years ago in Techno! History repeats it self! |

Well I dont know about the money, what i know is that Space Cat was for me a great and unique moment of music and class!!!
This guy is a gentleman, was nice talking to him at the end of his set (end of party)
I have never imagined that the river whould get so high up!!!
What a scene!!! Did the Chai-shop van make it out of the river in the end?
Those security guys in the front of the stage for the last half an hour of Space Cat´s set were a sign that something was wrong!
Its a real chame that it ended with all those problems because the party was going just perfect dispite the heavy rain, Menog left everybody at the right point for the next 3 hours with Avi Algranati !!! |

Hello everybody!!
Remember me? i was the first guy that organized a party and run away with the money. So you should thanks to me this new kind and very fashionable way of organyzing parties... At the rewiews of my party ecsko deleted all my posts... i guess that he didn't want me to share my secret...
But i'm preparing a book witch will be a bestseller this x-mas:"o Mico Perfeito" for shore...
i have a theory that proves that this parrty was prepared to be like this:
1- the line up head was space Cat.... space cat.... spacemiau... space cat... mico
2-allmost dj´s we're portuguese like in my "tuga's party"
3-my label was : Tribal space and this one Tribal roots
4-Mr. true (i know that you know him...) played in both parties!
it's to much... coincidence....

that fashion of dissapearing with money is unfortunately a little older in the portuguese scene than these last two doomed parties. its really sad that so many people have fallen victims to such scams. but we all learn lessons from this the hard way. either take the bizz side of things professionally or expect to get fucked over. and thats that. my sympathies to all those who are home tired and broke now, and have done their best to give ppl some good time. i remember feeling that way not so long ago in portugal...
