We all know traveling is fun with friends or with your girl. But how many of you enjoy traveling alone?

I think it's when your alone that you meet the most people and maybe have deeper experiences on your travels. I've never done a big trip alone but planning on next year around south east asia, then down to New Zealand. It can be an intimidating thought to be in an unknown country alone, but at the same time I find it exciting.

What are your experiences?           «They who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream only by night.»

@anogenic
exactly bro travelling alone is he best way to travel
u make new friends learn bout the place more coz u have none else to interact with but the ppl from the place.

i've travelled many parts of India alone & once in Zanzibar (Tanzania). had fun that's all i can say           the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!

I have travelled alone and i would say its got it own charms plus you are free to do anything no compromises !!!

I have stayed in villages in the mountains made food for few local people, worked with them and acted as a person among themselves rather then acting like a TOURIST !!!            “What we need is the development of the Inner Spiritual man, the unique individual, whose treasure is hidden in the symbols of our mythological tradition and in man’s unconscious psych.” - CJ Jung

i think travelling alone it has its pros and cons
ive enjoyed travelling through the south of india/jamaica alone and it was a fantastic experience -not only meeting new ppl but just making my own route and being able to do whatever the hell i wanted to and not have to comprimise on that.

but at the same time there were many moments that i would have loved to share with friends or someone close rather than enjoy it all alone.

i was staying in pondicherry on the beach and woke up to see the sunrise and saw 3 beautiful dolphins jump over the horizon.... and i was ahhing & oooohing but truly wished i had someone with me to share that spectacular moment..

myabe u can meet someone special when ur out alone on ur adventure Have Fun           "END THE OCCUPATION!"

As was said, both have their pros and cons, but overall, I must say I like to travel alone. Rarely do I have a strict schedule to follow....I was only going to stay two days in Lithuania, but extended it to 6 just because I wanted to. I am a very laid back traveller and it has been difficult to find someone who shares my thoughts on flexability.           .

lets all get together and go travelling since we all seem on the same page when it comes to travelling           "END THE OCCUPATION!"

we are all individuals on our individual journeys, but yeah travel with friends is different. but for sure, travel alone has its own magic ... travel itself is an experience, i'd say one of the most mind expanding experiences ever!!!!

i travelled for 4 months last year...was the best 4 monts of my life so far

hope to meet more ppl on the same wavelength the next time round .. bom           ~surreally yours~

two years ago i tried a short month holiday alone and.....never stopped travelling alone....last year all year alone...in india, laos, cambodia guatemala etc....

melloed you got it....!!!

alone=travelling=experience= life changing

together= holiday=fun= exciting =but very rarely life changing. (and i think one of the big risks if it is a long journey is that the friendship is actually going to worsen rather than improve...as you do feel the need to experience something different that takes you away from your habits (and therefore friends)!!!

go alone....youll have a blast!

aum namah shivaya

PS
it is very different tho comparing india/ guatemala alone for ex with australia new zeland or laos cambodia....

My Motivation for traveling, is to attend trance festivals. Im not really into other types of activities.

I've been traveling alone for sometime now and I like it more than traveling with people. Everytime I've been to a new country, I've met a lot of new people, made wonderful friends and had a wonderful time, So I think I'll be doing it for some more time. It's an amazing experience IMO.
