Hi all to celebrate the return of one of the vintage labels in the Psy Trance scene we will be putting up a party at the Brixton Telegraph on Fri 17th of Feb.
Full info will be coming soon.

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year

From Transient Records

Label owner.Greg (Lunar) Coyle
ANR.Kristian

Transient Bio

Transient Records was founded 1994 in West London as one of the first pioneering Trance labels of its time. The ethos of the label then (which has carried on to the present day) was to release cutting edge, ass-shaking, dance-floor monsters for clubs and parties throughout the world. After over 100 singles and 50 albums Transient has proven that quality above all else provides longevity.

Transient has worked with many top acts including Cosmosis, Slide (Now part of the Corburn project with Tim Healy), Astral Projection, Eskimo, Talamasca, Orion, Silicon Sound, Wizzy Noise, Quirk(Ex Project of Tim Healy), Atmos, Son Kite, Logic Bomb, Astralasia and many more.

To maintain their passion for other styles Transient opened a sister label ‘Automatic’ which is now highly acclaimed and supported by the likes of Danny Tenaglia, John Digweed, Pete Tong and Sasha to name but a few. Automatic is best known for releases from such artists as Cass and Slide, Tim Healy of Electric Tease and Coburn fame, Spincycle and more recently Krueger and Coyle.

Transients next release ‘Resurrection’ (compiled by Head of A&R, Kristian) will be hitting the shops early 2006. It will include tracks by Dino Psaras, Aphid Moon, Triptych, Star X, 2 Hi (from Brasil), Freakuliser, Fortu, M klome v Dj Kristian, and a blistering collaboration between Rizzo from Dark Soho and Dj Kalimamboh from newcomers Dejavoo.

This will be followed by a Day and Night album (highlighting the best tracks played in the night time madness and morning tranquility of an outdoor party). Also coming in 2006 will be another installment of the classic chill out series Mashed Mellow Grooves and a couple of artist albums.

Enjoy the sound

JEAN BORELLI - (Orion, Solstice, - Denmark)
Jean Borelli has been producing and mixing psychedelic music since the beginning and has released on just about every trance label of note. With three albums under his belt and his newest being released this 4th of July, Orion is a pioneer of the trance sound and continues to be on the cutting edge of today's psychedelic music. Along with his solo project Jean Borelli has been collaborating with numerous artists such as Alien Project (as Crunchy Punch), Mino, Absolum etc. and enjoys combining different styles of trance into one unique blend, which is the trademark of his sound. This will be the official record release party for his new album "Electric Behavior" on Solstice Records as well as his first ever West Coast appearance, Come hear a trance legend live for the first time along with an extended 3 hour dj set by one of the worlds top producers.

Kristian is a well known face on the UK psy trance scene, alongside Transient, Kristian is resident at his own Chichime parties as well the UK’s biggest indoor psy-events Antiworld/ ES Collective’ which alongside compiling three albums for Transient has seen him DJ the world over Including Top Festival like .Full Moon,Glade, Freedom,Sonica,Tshitraka,Electromind, and Omni. Working with Kalimamboh on a new live project ‘Deja Voo’ and compiling the come back Transient release Ressurection will keep him very busy in 2006.

Greg Coyle owner of Transient and it’s sister label, the more progressive label ‘Automatic’ has been actively involved in the dance scene for over ten years with previous careers involving working as a booking agent, DJ, A&R, producer and much more, Greg has been at the forefront of the progressive and psychedelic scenes for many years. And is one half of progressive act Kruger and Coyle. He is also responsible for releases like Purple and Lunar (Subtle Thrust) now a milestones in our scene. He is now firmly focused on the re-launch of Transient, and Automatic.

Phil Chichime.Has been at the forefront of promoting Psy/Progressive events in the Uk for almost seven years. He is also known for this hypnotic/Funky progressive sets in most back rooms of major Psy events or as a very good warm up to the main room. Phil is one of the pioneers of mixing up the darker/Deeper side of the progressive house into the Psy/Prog scene, some thing that has now become very popular especially in the German circuit.

Zubzub is the creation of long time Ozrics base player Zia Geelani. Zia played at Glastonbury and Glade 2006, this year he will be playing at the world reknown Sonar Festival in Barcelona. The Zubzub sound incorporates an epic music feel fused with cleverly programmed, strongly groovy dance rhythms witout ever sticking to just one style. Two albums have been released in Malicious code (2005) and Zubzub (2003).Expect great vibes in the chillout room
from one of the long time psychedelic alchemists.

Dream Machine are a new instrumental progressive spacerock band and their brand new CD, "Trilogia", combines the talents of assorted ex-band members from groups like Thunderdogs, Damidge and Ozric Tentacles together the first time as a unit. "Trilogia" has been sold and distributed by Rubbish Records since October '05.
The music from 'Trilogia' is perfect for sci-fi because it comes from the immagination -action scenes [epic mystical battles as in Star Wars or Lord of the Rings] or beautiful landcsape sequences obviously fit well with our music. There are no words, so the listener will hopefully be inspired to use their immagination as well. The different sounds, atmospheres and textures conjure different images in the mind of each individual listener.
They will be opening the event experience the ultimate Acid Rock showdown

Naughty beatle

It great to see Transient back in Action. I will go down to this party. Is Mumbo Jumbo still around?

The trend of making come backs seems to be the order of the day. Transient, Twisted, come on Atomic and Rhino....Why not
